Odd HoMM V Issue
I was wondering if anyone else has come across an issue I've been having. Basically, any time I try to reload a save while the game is running, the game crashes to my desktop. It crashes if I try reloading while it's the AI's turn, if it's my turen, and even if I exit out to the main menu. I don't have any crashes while playing though, just when trying to load a save while the game is running. Of course, I can choose a save when I first start the game up and it loads fine, but if I try to reload that save while the game is running, BIP...crash.
Any thoughts?

What version of Heroes 5 are you using? In TotE 3.1 I am able to
load a saved game at least from the adventure map. It sometimes crashes
when I try to load from a battle, though, occasionally even corrupting the save file.
Anyway, if you're playing Heroes 5 I'd recommend you to take a
look at Quantomas's unofficial AI patch located here.

I'm running HOMM 5 Collector's Addition. I generally play Hammers of Fate and I believe the version is 3.1 (I'm not at my home computer right now so I can't double check.
I'll take a look at that AI patch though. Looks like a good idea.

Oops...sorry, meant Tribes of the East 3.1. That's the one I usually play at this point.
