I don't know yet, AI growth was much increased because of bonuses. Currently playing MoS, I will look into rewards to see if we finish too powerful. I don't think I changed devils ratio, just removed all other choices of creatures.

Seriously? Last time I played, it was about 60 devils max. This way I'll have thousands of devils soon, and everything on my way dies already without help of demons.

i dont know how i should defeat that lords of thunders, i got 600 AD and they kill 50 per one shot.

Have you buffed Air Shield yet?! It reduces 50% ranged damage. Also spread ADs into one main stack and 6 mini stack (1 each), let their clones block the LoT so that they can't shoot.

Titans and Archangels are unfortunatelly the hardest enemies. Still, you can stop Titans with lots of clones as mentioned above.

Holy crap, help Month 8, right before Bron Commodus got bugged! Even though I wear admiral's hat it still drains my movement while entering/leaving ship... I don't have to say how much does it slow me down, do I?

You already have Water bonus right? The moment you have Water bonus, if you use your last movement tile to enter the ship, the next day when you land it will give you back the movement speed when you enter, and thus getting completely 0 movement left. Though I do remember that there are some chances that Admiral Hat indeed doesn't work.

If i'm month 8 how would it be possible NOT TO HAVE water bonus? I know about last tile, but it even happens when i have full movement.

Well then I guess you can only upload your save and have Sal fix it for you.

Btw Sal, does the Enchanted Prayer ability from army dialog Expert version (3) or Mass verion (4). If it Expert and only benefits the stack that has the ability then it means that you will have to recast Prayer when you have both Demons and AD anyway, making it even more unnecessary.

hehe, doing arena with one devil, crazy. Skeletons good with prayer.

Revolution, the movement point you had when get aboard, you get back when land. Means if you step in the boat with 100 points left, you will get 100 when land back, no matter how many you gained in water. Imagine how could be used as cheat if one has 100 left, go with boat then land with 10k.

I find the ghost behe the most dangerous early. Titans you can block and archangels you have a spot to go where they block themselves thus get attacked only by 3 stacks every turn, use clone to weaken those 3 stacks, then attack/return to kill others. But behes are deadly, with their ignore defense + attack all around/meteor shower, your efreets last one turn max then you are pants down.

As for reward: I wanted the caves to be worth the visit, once/month. I mean, by farming all the imps dwelling every week, you can get 500 or more. If cave gives same or less, it is not worth. Now if it too easy with, I can rearrange that, let me see, AI growth is one line code.

For me Caves of gods are impossible in the first months.
No power to ressurect,no abilities yet.
Only maybe after 6th month become available to attack-I think better players find possibilities earlier.

At least that was before the special levels.Now it could be possible for me earlier.

Now they are doable month 3, if a bit lucky. If dragons, once you get immunity fire you are okay. For supreme you need 23 speed, which is anyway good to upgrade early. Still behe and titans are not doable before you get good resurrect ratio.

Eh...the problem is that if you get hit twice, you are dead and buried, so hating postmortem won't help much. The whole thing consist to never get hit. AI creatures have more than 100 damage/creature. But interesting idea, could work in some map with less deadly AI.

Another idea: Deflect 200% damage (Or something that works this way. Next hit will add creatures instead of doing damage) until next creature ends its move. Usable on one stack, once per game, for a proper mithril cost.

Also, magic resistance>100% was quite a funny feature in TDS (actually, it was a bug and got fixed). It's just that it didn't work with Death Stare and casting spells with the Doctor until his mana ran out, then getting 75% of it back right away took too long.

And one more: Magic Dampener (Pegasi ability), increased by 'Cast' ability. AIs' cost of spells increased by total number of casts or by number of casts left.

Maciek, thanks, but we were searching through regular abilities, such features will need to redo from scratch my 2000 codes lines battle scripts, passing spells cost from AI to human, change them on each battle turn etc. But please suggest more, more ideas always help to find the good one.

Guess who was defeated on 4.4.3:


I was down to 20 devils that fight and was ready to abandon, but incredible luck hit me, both titans got fear twice consecutively.

The bonus of the week: new skill. All heroes go on a nap.

I noticed there's no Acid in your abilities list. No Bind or Lycantropy either. I don't know if anybody in his right mind would pick Lycantropy, though. Endless retaliation? I guess no.

All your present and future Devils are turned into Efreeti. Commodus gets a commander of his choice instead. Okay, seems this would need a lot of code and is not your style anyway.

Sacrifice/sell stack for mithril (once a game?).

Chance to cast Expert Berserk on meele hit. Affects the creature that casts it no matter what.

Activated battle ability that paralyses/stones all your creatures for 50 turns and destroys all your warmachines, but fully resurrects one stack. Might cost many spellpoints or some mithril. Have fun, AI.

Lose the ability to attack. +HP, +Retals instead. Probably impossible to make it useful here without makeing it overpowered.

Place one permament obstacle per battle. Mithril cost grows expotentially for each obstacle. Lord Haart lite.

Max HP of one type of creatures decreased ten-fold permamently. Works on creatures on your side only. Easy resurresction.

Possible cost for something: transfer all your resources to AI. Script would try not to trigger resources overflow for AI.

Maybe something will be useful.
