Sadly I'm not too versed in the rules and gameplay mechanics we have established, which I think is essential in order to write a campaign.
Then there's the issue about not being a particularly good writer.
So I think I'll be cheering from the sidelines this time.
I still need to finish that artwork too

Which rules and gameplay mechanics? Since it is an open contest, any wished-for rules and mechanics can be used. As for the writing I think you underestimate yourself.^^

I automatically assumed this was related to the Creational Game.

I've got exams coming up at the end of the month, so time is sparse enough as is. On top of that, I'm not happy with my own work, which admittedly has not come very far. Third, I am not certain how I should enter/use cutscenes into my campaigns. Writing storyboards is more work than it is worth, but without them, I fail to get my intended message across.

Ah, too bad, I know such time problems. =(
For the cutscenes: They would of course be nice, giving a good flavor of the storyline usually. You don't need include them, though, if you don't wish.

It's not that I don't want to include them. It's rather that I want to include them in a cost-effective way. It is, as you say, a usefull manner of getting story across without having to write a novella. I just don't have quite wrapped my head around how to do this without a full script.

Hmm. You can just describe the important things to happen, as shortly as possible. I think the cost-effect is quite nice, at least if a reader reads it thoroughly.
