How does neutral monster growth work?

If there is let's say 10 titans on the map at the beginning of game and they are not set to "not grow", how many will there be after x number of weeks?

Did a few tests. Results:

*stack receives +10% of its current size at the start of new week.
*If 10% is less than 1 unit, the stack will still receive additional units after 10 weeks.
*That does not depend on unit level.
*If "hobgoblin population doubles" month comes, the existing hobgoblin stack will not receive any bonus growth.
*If "lizard warrior grows +5" week comes, the existing lizard warrior stacks will not get additional growth.

So the initial amount doubles in roughly 2 months and is 4 times bigger after 4 months.

What do you mean exactly?

It retains the decimal value, but the increase waits for full integers.

1 unit+10% = 1.1 units
If this is how it counts then it'd take eight weeks for an actual increase (though depending on the number of decimals retained).

Or, it retains the percentage value and waits for 100%.

Thus first week checking 1 unit+10%=1.1 units, simply notices that that won't result in an increase, and next time checks with +20%. Then the increase would take ten weeks.

It takes 10 or maybe even 11 weeks to turn 1 unit into 2 units, the test shows. How one unit can turn into two, in case of a single male pikeman for instance, is a matter of further investigation.

Well... Then I'd say it saves the percentage, as "tokens". What happens with 7 units? Is the 7.7 rounded to 8, or will it wait another week? If the latter, will the second increase (to 9 units) take just a single week, retaining the decimals(8.4), or will that take two weeks as well?
It might just be a customscript for alla numbers under ten or something.
