Posting Problem! Need Mod assist pls!
I am trying to edit the first post in this topic:
http://heroescommunity.com/viewthread.php3?TID=35293
It will not allow me to, and even after this topic I should have 5 left still. It also will not allow me to add a post after the last one, even though it looks like it will, even with the warning about it not increasing my post count. I wasn't worried about that, was trying to upload fixed copy of story, and then continue it. Am I unable to do so?
EDIT: is there a limit to the length of the posts that can be made? it is rather lengthy, as I updated bits of the existing story.
Edit 2: Adrius, I thought it was one year. It is less than that, but it seemingly wont let me adjust it. is there a limit to the length of a post? it is a rather long story...

Once a post reaches a certain age, especially one awarded a +QP, it can no longer be edited. This is done to prevent users from deleting old posts out of spite. I don't know exactly how old a post has to be in order to qualify, but you may have passed it in this case.

It's a 1 year limit if I recall correctly.
You can tell a mod to edit it for you though.
EDIT:
In your other thread it was mentioned that QP posts cannot be edited, that is false though. Been editing a lot of my faction threads after they have been QPed.

There is a post length limit,I encountered it twice while writing my ICTC faction.After hitting the "Submit Reply" does it appear a blank white screen like that when you open a new tab?If it appears,then it's the post length limit.

Thank you very much Lizard. It was exactly that, I had exceeded the post limit lol. Couldn't post before as was just about at spam filter limit. If you check the story it is now updated!
