So, let's get it started.

Avi's Units:

Minotaur

Attack: 10
Defense: 6
Damage: 5-17
Health: 28
Initiative: 27
Speed: 5

Abilities:
-Shatter Armor (The heavy weapon of this unit crushes enemy armours. Takes "Armoured" ability from attacked enemy. Enemies without that ability get a defense reduction of 25%)

Arcane Spirit

Attack: 8
Defense: 3
Damage: 2-12
HP: 17
Initiative: 90
Speed: 10

Abilities:
-Arcane Bolt (Activated ability. Once per battle, arcane spirits can set off a Strike of Arcane Energy, that can hit any target on the battlefield, for a good amount of arcane damage)
-Arcane Presence (Gives the hero a spellbonus for every x number of
friendly Arcane Spirits on the battlefield.) ...we will sort the nubmer out after we know the growth rate...

Mage

Attack: 9
Defense: 9
Damage: 3-14
HP: 12
Initiative: 70
Speed: 5
Mana: 17

Abilities:
-Arcane Studies (The mages have studies magic their entire Life, and they will allways go on studying. Each 7th day mages have spend with a hero/in a town, they learn 1 random spell from the hero spell book/the town mage guild)
-Caster
-Shooter

Spells:
-Rust (Metal L1), 4 mana
-Searing Aura (Fire L1), 6 mana
-Fire Ball (Fire L1), 14 mana

Gnomes' units:

Harpy
Attack: 12
Defense: 4
Damage: 3-14
Health: 14
Initiative: 77
Speed: 10

Abilities:
-Shriek (Once per battle. Harpies can use half their turn to let out a loud shriek. All hearing units (friend or foe) within range are afflicted by "Harpy Shriek" and are unable to move, retaliate or use abilities or cast spells in any way (e.g. not even Lizard Bite or such passive abilities). When it's their turn, they skip that turn and the "Harpy Shriek" effect wears off (effectively all hearing units are useless and vulnerable for one turn).)
-Strike and Return (When performing a melee attack, this creature returns to it's former position afterwards)

Wolf
Attack: 7
Defense: 6
Damage: 5-17
Health: 17
Initiative: 65
Speed: 9

Abilities:
-Harrass (Instead of a normal attack, this unit can also perform a harrassing attack, dealing less damage, but decreasing the enemy unit's stats for a while)
-Pack Hunter (When one unit with pack hunter attacks an enemy creature, each friendly unit with pack hunter in reach will do so)

Axe-Thrower
Attack: 11
Defense: 5
Damage: 5-16
Health: 22
Initiative: 37
Speed: 4

Abilities:
-Battle Triumph (When this creature finish off an enemy stack they get a strong Buff, making them MUCH more effective for the rest of the battle (mainly increasing damage, initiative, morale and attack, but quite much of them.) The Bonus is not cumultative!)
-No Melee Penalty
-Shooter

This is the starting battlefield. Gnomes can place his units anywhere on the red tiles and avi on the blue tiles (you can also split stacks at this point!). YOu place the troops by telling me where they stand, I will post the starting battlefield then.

You forgot initiative for the Axe Thrower

Arcane Spirit(s) placed at front of the bottom row.
Mage(s)  placed at rear of the sixth row top-to-bottom.
Minotaur(s) placed at front of the fifth row top-to-bottom.

I don't know how many of each creature I get, so I won't split stacks yet.

I'll split my harpies into two stacks.

One Harpy stack will go in the front of row 4, and the other in row 6 (counting down from the top).
Wolves will go in the front-middle.
Axe Throwers (who still need initiative, BTW)) will go in the bottom back corner.

Arh, I forgot numbers -.-
Ini is with the stats now

So, here are the numbers:

17 Minotaurs
15 Arcane Spirits
15 Mages

16 Harpies
15 Wolves
17 Axe-Throwers

So, we can begin with
Turn 1
Starting positions:

The sequence of action is (for now):
Arcane Spirits
Harpies 1
Harpies 2
Mages
Wolves
Axe-Throwers
Minotaurs

That is, now is the Minotaurs' Arcane Spirits' turn.

(Minotaur and Mage need to switch places, BTW)

Edit: I made this. Should make it easier to keep track of the various units.

Mages = T6
Minotaurs = S5

Arcane Spirits go right for the Axe Throwers S10->I10 (I don't know what arcane damage does compared to normal damage so I won't use the special ability.

The Harpies hit the Arcane Spirits for 96 damage and 5 Arcane Spirits die, the front spirit having 6 hitpoints left.

The remaining 10 arcane Spirits Retaliate for 95 damage, killing 6 Harpies, leaving the survivor with 3 Hitpoints. The 2 remaining harpies return to their original position.

It's the next harpies' turn.

Arcanes are OP

Couple questions:
What do my magic do, have we established that yet? (Edit: Damage-wise, I mean)
Can ranged enemies retaliate against shooters or is that a special ability?

Seems so, indeed^^ but maybe I just need to rate them stornger and give you less next time, eh?

We did not determinate damage, no.
And for ranged retaliation: No, that is a special ability (it was just answered in the main thread that a defense subskill gives your unit the ability )

You can use magic.^^ I'll try to go for reasonable damage rates on any undecided thing for now. But ok.

The Mages do 121 damage, killing 5 Axe-Throwers, leaving 12 of them, with 11 front-hp left.

Now, the wolfies can act.
