What is the best 7th level unit,
There wasnt a post about 7th level units so i thought i would talk about them. Chaos hdyras-five units at once my favourite choice but not enough life. Archangels- probably the best unit in the game can fly far and got good life and strong hit,though they can only attack one unit at a time. Ancient behemoths, strong lots of life but slower, and only one unit though tough to kill, i rate them as my worst 7th level unit , dont like stronghold that much. Titans, best trowing unit in the game, brilliant but terrible fighters up close. Black dragons , i like dragons, its brilliant how they are immune to magic and can fly pretty far, ok life.Next, Green dragons, not much to say about them same as black dragons. Thats all i can think of, i havent got the expansion so whats confluxes best unit

AB and Titan lame? err... AB is considered 2nd best creature next to AA's! Try 1 BD vs. 1 AB, you'll see! Yeah they are slow but with prayer or haste will drop your jaws... Titans have no melee penalty also they rule in close ranged shoot attacks!

Titan's Melee
What was that???? Anyway, I've been playing like since HOMM1 and I never knew Titans had no melee penalty. I just assumed and fought hand to hand. By this you mean he can shoot when someone is on top of him. I think not!

LOL. I stand corrected and must apologize to those on toh for the yammerings of the clueless. Titans don't receive a melee penalty in hand to hand. They don't shoot but they do their full damage as do the monks/zealots, magi/arch-magi, and beholders/evil eyes. If someone mentions Bow of the Sharpshooter after this I'm gonna choke'em.

hhhmm.. all units are good when used properly and used by a skilled player, but what i meant by saying ancient behemoths were rubbish was that they dont seem to work for me unless i use a lot of spells then there brilliant but so are the other creatures when they have spells on them. And about titans being bad up front in hand to hand combat was that they are the only 7th level ranged attacker and they are the worst out of 7th level units at fight up close, sorry for the mix up and misunderstanding

Thats reminds me of a time when i had 9000 imps and they killed 20 archeangels but then got slaugthered by the other 200 arch-angels. Do titans have a meele pentaly, cause i dont think they do?
