Might & Magic Heroes 6 Pirates of the Savage Sea

The year following the events of Heroes VI, several ships have disappeared in the Savage Sea during sudden and mysterious storms. Although that wouldn't be so surprising in and of itself - these waters are known to be dangerous and unforgiving, even for experienced captains and seafarers - there are rumors running about the taverns attributing the disappearances to something mysterious.

The Pirate Council has hired the legendary Crag Hack to find out what happened. Crag Hack has been it all: mercenary, barbarian, and pirate. It is therefore time again for this legendary Hero to be called out of retirement and embark on a new and perilous adventure.

Will Crag Hack’s unique spirit of adventure be enough to defeat the mischievous and chaotic winds of the Savage Sea?

You'll be able to enjoy:

• Over 10-hours of intense and epic adventure: Experience an original and exclusive, breathtaking story starring the well-loved “Legacy” Hero and discover new secrets of Ashan.

• New artifacts and bonuses: Unlock a new spectacular Dynasty weapon, an Artifact Set and much more!

• Experience the unique mix of Turn-Based Strategy & RPG with the critically acclaimed Heroes VI gameplay: Explore extra-large adventure maps, collect tons of resources and build extraordinary cities. Perfect your tactics to level-up your heroes, recruit troops & ready them for combat on exclusive battle maps.

"Might & Magic Heroes 6 Pirates of the Savage Sea" will be available on July 12 for a price of 9,99 euros (£7,99)

At the same time we've got another great news for you!

Did you know that the very first Town screen appeared in Heroes I and became an important hallmark feature?

Town Screens are a visual reward for building your town. They graphically represent the evolution starting from a small pleasant town to a shining capital, centerpiece of any epic Empire.
They also add a lot of character and flavor to the factions, highlighting their architecture and cultural differences. Finally, they give you great illustrations that you can savor while enjoying each faction’s specific musical theme.

Town screens are one of Heroes’ game-core pillars. In each Heroes game, they are there to enchant the players while making the management of their magical Empire more enjoyable. Thanks to fan, player and journalist feedback on this subject, we are now providing a favorite feature of past Heroes games, adding beautifully animated Town Screens, tailored specifically to the expectations of Might & Magic fans.

Necro town screen (early)

Necro townscreen (completed)

Stronghold town screen (early)

Stronghold town screen (completed)

Town screens will be released in the patch 1.5 (on July 12). This patch will include several changes including game balancing and much-awaited compatibility of on-line and off-line saves ( So, no more stress during servers’ outage or when you don’t have Internet access!).

Well, things seem to be in motion now.

I think 10€ is a tad too much for DLC, but we will see how it goes.

if I understand correctly, town screens are free.

What is "Pirates of the Savage Sea"? It seems a DLC, I asked Irina via twitter and she said that they'll release more info today, so we'll have to wait.

PD: Stupid DLC

Well, town screens are free (included in patch 1.5).

The extra campaign (and i guess Crag Hack hero) are what is being offered for 10€.

Sorry guys, but that DLC is... pathetic. H6 is not even a finished game and Ubi still wants more, and more money from fans.

So, basically this DLC contains new campaigns, new hero(es) and new artifacts?

A little bit too expensive, imho.

Ten hours are what 2-3 maps?
For 10 euro I would wait atleast 5 maps and 1-2 new neutrals..
Artifacts and Hero should be automatic

The DLC and the patch get released on the same date so if they are seperate, that's fine, but if they are basically two names for the same thing, then Ubisoft deserve nothing but all the public insults that the community can produce.
By the way, provided that the town screens are not part of the DLC, do they seriously expect someone to pay 10 euro just for some campaign?

If its a good campaigne why not. I paid 80 ueros for 4 of them and so thats not sucha problem (Well is better then Chronicles anyway) But I expect more from it then just 10 hours

Btw I would pay a mapmaker if he would make a good job:-) and a good map.

Judging from the quality of the original Heroes VI campaign, you'd better put your offer on the community forums - you'll get much better quality for your money, that's certain.
