I don't understand the voting options?

Me neither actually.

I won't buy the DLC because I don't have the game. The reasons why I haven't bought the game are among others:
- Internet DRM: I NEVER buy a game with internet DRM.
- H6 is an unfinished game: It does not even show how many turns it will take you to walk a distance - in a turn based game? It completely blows my mind that this has yet to be fixed. And why is it that only your starting hero can get reputation?  Can you even pick campaign heroes in single player missions now, or is this still missing?
- Horrible interface: The town screens have received most of the attention, but it's not just those, it's the user interface of the whole game that is bad. It's all small windows with many tabs and a lack of information. I won't be surprised if the new town screens don't even show creature growth stats.
- Bad game features: Town conversion, areas of control, main hero focus, healing, universal creature pools and so on. I don't want to say ruin, but these features at least lessen my experience of the game considerably.
- The almost complete lack of management: I've written about this before, so I won't repeat myself here.

This is not mentioning bugs, balance issues, faction diversity and the skill tree. These things are said to be addressed in patches, so I'm expecting them to improve. But as long as the list above remains the same (as it has since before the beta) I don't see myself giving more money to Ubisoft...

You don't need to buy the game in order to play it, that's why demos exist plus the open beta which was in no way different compared to the released game. Only thing is missing is story but he referred to functionality only.

As odium said, my experience is from the closed and open beta. I haven't played the campaigns, but neither did I mention them.

What?

But like every single new game has that. What do you play, Mine Sweeper?

Anyway I have no problem with DRM in the year of 2012 when most people that aren't living on the countryside should have very good internet (otherwise, their governments suck).

Mine Sweeper is an excellent game! I've played it far more than H6, that's for sure

These days I don't "game" much, but the few games I play are on the PS3. PC games that I own are almost all strategy games. And frankly, they don't come very often. The newest ones are more in the direction of "most clicks per minute", which is not the style of most heroes players (at least not mine).

I don't like internet DRM, because first of all, why should I be punished for paying for the game? Those who pirate it can play instantly 24/7. In the meantime I'm probably stuck waiting for Ubisoft's servers to come back on line. It's just bad business to punish those why buy your product!

I would also like to play in the future, when the servers are at some point taken down. Then what? And the servers will eventually be taken down. After all, it's all about the money (and I'm not against that, it's how a company has to operate. I just don't want to be dependent on Ubisoft (or any other company) to enjoy a product I've paid for).

Since I don't have much time for games in my everyday life, the times I like to play are on weekends and holidays, perhaps away from home. Maybe on a long bus drive or a flight. I would be stuck with only Mine Sweeper, instead of H3 for instance.

This is not to mention the needless irritation that comes with internet downtime, router issues and so on

I don't think this is the place to get into a discussion about government quality measured by internet availability. You might argue it's a part of infrastructure, but roads, electricity and clean water would be a higher priority than internet in my book.

Elvin, I think you used a good choice of words for the following "improvements on skill efficiency so that they are fun or useful to pick etc"....the balancing of factions and other areas can be fine tuned, it's the skill trees that are boring and have everybody up in arms about. Having said this, they would need to make an entirely new game if the skill system was to change....I like alot of aspects of H6 (graphics, navigation ease through menus, shortcuts of spells/abilites) but it's the skill system that's not cool period.
Bring back the magic guild! Let the player having limited choice on spells on their town to strategize how to build hero!

While I am confident that we will get an improved skill system(though I doubt a total redesign), I do not believe it is a short term plan. But making the choice between skills meaningful? That you can count on.

Of course this is not the only issue with H6 but others like compatibility between online and offline saves are on their way. I do not yet know what 1.6 will bring but if the first addon offered a new faction, an improved editor, RMG and improved interface/skill system I would be satisfied. I'm hoping for 2 factions though

If anything it is clear that ubi reaps what they have sown.. Some more money up front would have saved them a lot of expenses and sale losses in the future.

Ruins the mental image I got of Crag Hack in my head. Eyepatch and a pirate? That's not the Crag Hack I know and love. Heh...

But that's just a detail. I will buy it if it gets a hard copy too, as I never buy anything online, and if it offers anything nice and new to the table.

By nice and new, I don't mean the Town Screens, cause these we ought to get for free. New dynasty weapons, new neutral monsters, that kinda stuff. But lots of them, cause it's too expensive.

Barbarian/pirate actually No new neutral that I know of but you just might get a neutral dwelling. There is some new content like new traits/achievements/multiplayer heroes/a boss/a dynasty weapon/a new artifact set but I don't know much on the specifics.

Generally, most of that stuff doesn't have my interest. I don't play campaigns, so the whole concept of a campaign DLC pretty much means the cause is lost on me. More artifacts would be nice, but no where near worth the cost of this (unless we were talking massive amounts). New creatures (or new factions) would be something entirely different, and I would even be willing to pay a good price (i.e. more than € 10) for that, if it was well excecuted.

im not interested in dlc's coz of personal preferance - it's not about this particular dlc, but more about dlc's in general - im old school guy, and i prefer one or two big expansion(s) over bunch of dlc's. I rarely buy one for any game.

and coz i was not impresed with original, and haven't even finished it yet, ill postpone or skip the purchase, and rather play original once all issues are fixed

(and by the time im done with it there'll hopefully be expansion released)

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you can play all the game offline if you want to. At least there is an option "offline mode" before you login.
I'm guessing you will just miss the dynasty weapons, achievements... things like that.

Only 1 choice of starting might hero (ie. Erwan for haven) & 1 choice of starting magic hero (ie. Eileen for haven)...that wouldn't be too bad by itself, but it's just crap since only the starting hero can have reputation...

So have choice of Erwan for main hero with reputation, or another hero like Martina without reputation...enjoyment depends on tolerability to same hero for a faction all the time or else no reputation (I guess choosing AI hero is restricted to same boring thing too [non-campaign])

First of all is a good to have this feedback an hopefully it will reach the ears of Ubisoft.

Well I wont be buying it because i don't like having to go to all of the hassle of creating accounts and having digital copy of the game I'm old school prefer hard copy style.
The game is still bugged and needs more balancing and I find that releasing the patch that is supposed to fix all the issues with the DLC is just underhanded, release the patch if it really fixes  some of the issues than release the DLC.

or I could play a well made map which by the way are not available, I think the should release some maps for free to keep players interested not release a dlc with 2-3 maps for money and other useless junk (weapons which are used only if you play on-line and achievement which have the same problem so no thank you) ... but that is just me.
And finally I fell I got "fooled" with the game and has left me a bad taste, there for I will not by anything until I see the game starts to improve and deliver what has promised and when I feel it reaches that point I might consider buying additional "addons" ... or await a complete edition at discount price if they don't deliver because I still hope for a H7 that will be able to surpass H3
