Excellent work. Most town screens are gorgeous (especially sanctuary and inferno, the latter never having looked better as far as I'm concerned), while the belance fixes have uplifted the gameplay. I'm very pleased with the resul the result.

As for the "alternate upgrades or new unit issue"...I would take what I can get, but what should be prioritised in my opinions is the addition of more spells, warcries and other abilities.

Make converted Forts better. Right now you get like 500 gold a week and that's it.

hmm, now I don't remember, but I think we don't need to convert to get the 500g/day, do we?
Actually, I never convert the forts unless I'm very good on money

Converting a fort changes it from paying 250/day to paying 500/day. Converting a fort pays for itself in a week and a half.

Add in the wood and ore cost and the payout time rises significantly. Especially early when those are in low supply.

We're counting that. If you're for some reason only concerned about gold, it pays itself off in 6 days.

Hmm, for some reason i thought it costs 2500+5+5. Now i see its 1500+5+5 - so 6 days for gold.

Still, counting common resource at 500g apiece, it would add 20 days for +250 income to payoff the ore and wood. 26 days grand total for me. I guess it is less for those that value wood and ore less.

But regardless, I haven't found it to be a big issue in the game since one tends to be flooded in resources in mid and lategame - it can only be an issue early on.

It would be nice if there was some symbolic advantage of native forts (like +10 morale if defending creature is of the same faction as fort - kinda like old tavern effect)

yeah, ore and wood are very significant imo, early-mid game. But I didn't remember the 500g upgrade , thx for the info.

Not so fun fact:
BH code to the left, Limbic to the right.

Good lord.

While I am not a computer science expert, I can say that BH's code is a mess! I can imagine how Limbic spent several weeks just to arrange the code.

So, with Limbic is in charge, the future of MMH6 is bright and full of sun shine, right?

To be fair there never is a guarantee for one reason or the other but I have a feeling we are off to a good start. With any luck we might get some good news this week.

To be honest, while Limbic's code is clearer and it is easier to find there anything without using search button, these two codes are still the same, so only visuals are improved, not the code itself.

EDIT:
And maybe it is just programm fault, which was used to open this file, and which cannot display BH's code correctly (because of different coding standards for example).

It's a bit like having a messy desk, no?
Just because it looks like a pigsty, it doesn't mean the owner won't be able to find whatever he's looking for.

Judging from the stability of H6 I think that the messy looks are the least of it. If anything I'm more concerned that we are stuck with it for the time being.

That's exactly the problem. The owner/creator might, but from the looks of it it wouldn't surprise if s/he didn't, but s/he isn't the only one working on/with the metaforical desk. There were also other coleagues to consider and the people from other companies that had to work with it as well.

Honestly, if I was going bankrupt and replaced by some other company,
I'd mess it up even more.
But then I am a passive-aggressive douchebag with low work ethics

This.

All Elvin is showing is that whatever editor he is opening it with displays the break character Black Hole used as a Tab and the break character Limbic used as a Line Break. If you used a different editor, you'd see both as equally scrunched text or both looking the same, or maybe even Black Hole's code as nice and orderly with one argument per line and Limbic's as a jumbled mass of tabbed text.

It has 100% to do with how the editor you happen to be using, and 0% to do with the quality of the code. For reference, I opened some of the old Black Hole code in Word Pad, and it looks fine. I don't know what editor Elvin was using to make the comparison, but it doesn't really show anything no matter what it was. As long as the code opens and displays correctly on at least one editor and that editor happens to be the one Black Hole used in their studio, it wouldn't be an issue.

So after replaying the Necro map one today with my custom necromancer I hace came to the following conclusions
1: The Final boss battle of this map is buged a little,
2: The Lack od any traking of your games, especialy how well you hae performed and how long it took you, makes the achievments Runner and Sprinter one big problem. since you do not know what you are supposed to beat. Also if you have to use the preconstructed hero or you can do it with your custom one.
3: Since the Finall boss battle in this map is bugged I do not know if it is due to the bug or if it is due that Jorgen is not it, but the tenth window in the Boss bestiary still does not display anything
4: I still do not know who the eleventh boss is. Is it Jorgan and he is bugged as Azzkal was or is this space already reserved for the diged-up boss.

Edited my bad counting to eleventh

To be frank the image is not mine and I was pretty sure that the person who took the screenshot opened both with the same program, it would make no sense otherwise.. I'll investigate.

Tenth boss is Thunderbird, so you have (from left to right, from up to down):
- Michael, Uriel, Abyssal Worm, Breeder Queen,
- Mother Namtaru, Daughter of Malassa, Hai Ryou, Azkaal,
- Ahribban, Thunderbird, empty (probably reserved for Dragonwraith).

BTW - can someone check Daugther of Malassa description in Bestiary? In Polish version she has now Thunderbird biography. I wonder if it's just translation mistake in some language versions or general HVI bug.

That is my question. After the 1,5 patch there are not 9 but 11 slots in the boss section. one is for T bird. The other "Eleventh" one is the one I am interested in.
It really looks like it is ready for the Dragonwraight but I think the faceless could have an representative of their own, and Jorgens Battle at the end of necro Map 1 would be perfect for this.

Edited my bad counting
