I'll be honest, I hadn't even thought of Jack for that, I was just aiming for a noodle incident that would leave the newcomers sans-rope. But now that you've brought it up, I think I'm going to ret-con it so it was Jack anyway.

Sorry for my slight delay, but Christmas month seems to be turning into a rather busy month for me. We are currently preparing for mock exams in school, the family is preparing for christmas and on top of it all I finally got a part-time work to start earning some cash. Needless to say my activity will be less than it should be, and it will most likely continue to be like that until end of december-mid-january?

@Geny: Checked the wiki page and realized that only gave the sizes of the whole light. There's some variation in styles, so I'm going to say they range from the length of a human hand to about twice that.

Yeah, I want to give him time as well. Since Rincewind will mostly want to get as far away from trouble as possible, it will be up to his companions to drag him into adventures. That or someone rather creative thinking on my part.
