Now, this is a paradox...

"Yes I am, but what is it you strange creature?!"

"Hahahahaha! Oh, you!", was everything Grog could say to make this sound like a joke. Last thing he needed was Keska asking questions.

"Listen, we have to talk.", said Grog and, without thinking, he grabbed Fandral by the arm and lifted him up. "Follow me behind the inn."

Tristan:

The smith mutters something uncomplimentary under his breath and with one expert tap of his hammer, breaks the small chain.

"Why the griffin, by the way?"

The blacksmith gives you a weird look as he tosses the broken bracelet into a nearby crate. "It's the Erathian coat of arms. Whose authority did you think you were under? Eofol?"

"This looks good. I'm glad these didnae smash when I crushed the spider under it." Broïndur said, not particularly awaiting an answer.
After quickly deviding up the gold inside the chest between the two of them, giving Koto the benefit of the odd number, Broïndur closed it up again. He took the length of rope he had found previously and tied both ends to the handles either side of the chest. Then he slung the entirety carefully over his shoulder, wriggling a bit before the chest was positioned so that is was somewhat comfortable to carry against his back. Making a mental not to keep the chest in his own possesion, as he would like to tinker with the dart-trap inside it once he had the time. Such mechanisms were always intriguing and often usefull, especially to a Thirdling.
The other group of looters was trying to break into the last untouched room by now and Broïndur decided to leave them at it.
"Right, shall we?" He said to Koto indicating the far side of the hall, leading further in. "We still have nae found what we're looking fer, after all."

"Do you mind if I keep that little griffin," Tristan asks as he glances around the shop, at a far more leisurely pace than his last visit. He now has a sword, which is a good thing, but a replacement for the shield would be nice. As would an addition of some armor and a dueling cane, for a less lethal means of weaponry.

Koto was far to found of living to regret the trap not being in a good enough shape for him to be able to use it himself. However, he figured he could make good use of the dart and its poison, if he only found something to carry it safely in. But unless he would empty one of those potions, he had nothing, so he decided to leave it where it was.
"Right, shall we? We still have nae found what we're looking fer, after all."
Koto nodded "But lets keep our guard up, we never know what else we might meet here but giant spiders." he said and followed Broïndur.

"That goes without saying." Broïndur replied. So he unsheated his axe and headed down the corridor.

Grog was at the end of his nerves; he was basicly about to snap.

Fandral slams the the book together and places it in his satchel.

"I'm not sure why you'd want privacy, nothing here but peasants and that clueless group of adventurers, the rest have either moved on or given up"

"And, who's the broad?"

"oooh I see now" Snaps Fandral before either of them have a chance to reply.

Koto and Broïndur:

Headed down the corridor you are once again presented with two flights of stairs, one to the left and one to the right. Both go down.

----------------

Tristan:

The blacksmith's expression says plainly he can't see why you'd want it, but he takes the charm off with a little work and hands it to you nonetheless.

Looking around the shop you can see its contents haven't changed much in the time since you were arrested. Someone's old oak tower shield is propped up against a wall and a smaller metal buckler—bronze?—hangs nearby, scorch marks on its surface suggesting its previous owner had an encounter with the Dragonflies here. The body armor on display is mostly leather except for a single battered chainmail shirt, and the closest thing you see to a cane is a wooden staff—lightly carved and leaning in a corner.

----------------

Bowie/Grog and Fandral:

Keska looks from Grog/Bowie to Fandral and back, a frown on her face.

Oh no! I must be careful with Keska.

"Keska, don't worry, we just had a little misunderstanding here."

Grog turned back to Fandral: "Don't you remember anyone from the ship? Anyone who experienced the body swap?"

Body swap? What body swap?! Suddenly Fandral gets flash backs of all previous references by the group's to alleged face swaps. Fandral's innocent face suddenly turns to one of utter dread, as he runs amok looking for a mirror, or anything reflective.

Grog/Bowie and Fandral:

Keska's frown becomes, if anything, even more pronounced. "What is this you are speaking of?"

Fandral meanwhile manages to reach the nearby pond, where the water provides a slightly broken reflection.

"Uhh... I guess I'll have to explain everything to you, eh? Oh, well, here goes nothing..."

Grog leans against the tree: "I'm not actually an Orc, but there was this body swap spell and... I don't even know where I am right now!"

And so, Grog has explained everything to Keska - from the moment he found himself in the water, to the moment when he met her.

((OOC, it's really weird talking to an NPC like a real thing )

Koto got out a coin and flipped it, if heads he would chose right and if tails he would go left. The coin landed in his palm and it showed off the head of a man with a crown. "Right it is." he said with a low voice and put the coin back into his pocket.

Bowie/Grog:

((That's what role-playing is all about. ))

"You are lying," Keska accuses. "You are trying to make fool of me, you are telling songs."

----------------

Fandral:

You get a few weird looks from passerby, most of whom pretend not to notice or scurry over to the other side of the street. In the background you can hear your companion from the ship going on to the blonde woman about the arrival of you and your fellows and your collective...predicament.

----------------

Tristan:

The smith grunts. "Equipment like that, there's a lot of demand for with the contest. I can sell you the bronze shield for 300 and the chain shirt for 600."

----------------

Broïndur and Koto:

The pair of you go right, down worn stone stairs. At the bottom you find yourself in another room, small and squarish, and showing obvious signs of past floods. The floor here is tiled with a pattern of stars and bones, and with small crescent moons at the corners—mold and moss have accumulated over much of it. A door in the right wall opens into darkness, the others appear blank. The air is very damp down here, and smells faintly of mold and wet wood. A dead rat lies on the floor near the center of the room, its skull crushed.
