Mat held a hand to his face, tapping the angry red scratches cautiously. A low, thin hiss of air was let out as he grimaced, trying to put the dull throbbing out of his mind. Mat looked at the piece of glass, weighing his options. "Well, you could leave it in and it would be rather uncomfortable... or you could take it out. You'll bleed a lot if you do, but you're a rather big guy. You would have to bleed a lot more than that to really be affected."

Broïndur grunted and looked around.
"Let's see what kinda rags these here skeletons were wearing, maybes we can tied something round the wound. I don't much like the idea of leaving a trail of blood around."

"Well, we could either start helping out with the loading of those boxes, or we could try to climb on, from the water. The climbing may just be too difficult to do at all, so the boxes may be the best bet."

Mat and Broïndur:
There is very little but bone in the smashed mass of skeleton, but what's left of the scimitar-wielder has a tattered vest and the top halves of some very crumbly boots (the soles have long since disintegrated) and the one with the bottle was wearing what used to be farmer's garb judging by the dirt stains. The skeleton with no weapon was flat-out naked.

"Disguising ourselves does seem the easiest way, but we'll have to walk past the guards and they look like they mean business.", Rincewind thought about it for a moment, "This might also mean that they are bored and looking for some excitement. If you could create a distraction for them to run off to looking for action, I could probably sneak up on board and have a look around."

Broïndur grabbed the vest one of the skeletons was wearing. He inspected it and deemed it clean enough to tie his wound with. He turned to Mat and offered him the vest.
"Right, as soon as I pull out the glass, do ye think ye ken tie that onto the wound?"

"Um..." Well it couldn't be too much harder than tying a knot in a badger trap, "Sure, I can do that." He should probably ty it above the wound, to slow the blood flow and not put the decaying, most likely disease ridden cloth in the wound. He took the cloth and put it around loosely, nodding to Broindur to signal that he was ready.

When Mat indicated he was ready, Broïndur grabbed the neck of the bottle. "Tie it below the wound. I want the blood caught, not my arm going numb." He instructed.
He clenched his jaw tight and he jerked it. The bottle came out cleanly.

Mat hesitated and then moved the bandage below the wound. He tied it snugly, perhaps a bit too snugly, and picked up his staff again. "Alright, ready when you are." He told his companion.

Broïndur proceeded to pick up the stuff he handed through the holed to avoid getting stuck and gird them to his person. His wound throbbed slightly as he did so.
Lastyly he stuck the axe down his belt as he normally did and kept the scimitar in his hand. With his other hand he picked the lantern up.
"Ready."

"Right. I'll just go grab a crate and try to get on board. Stay close, in case things go bad."
Or rather when they go bad., he added in his head and went looking for a suitable cargo for him to carry.

Rincewind finds a crate after a bit of search; it's about the width of his shoulders and made of rough wood.

Mat and Broïndur:
Mat manages to wrap the makeshift bandage under the wound. The injury is still bleeding freely, but so long as Broïndur doesn't move his arm much, most of the blood is caught.
Looking around as best you can in the dark, the two of you find there is little else of note in this part of the ship: just the remains of your fight, a couple of crates and bundles lashed tightly to the floor on the far end of the ship, and a ladder leading up to the next deck.

Rincewind pushed himself into the line of sailors far enough from the yacht so the guards wouldn't see it. He raised the box high enough to hide most of his face, leaving only his eyes above it, and made his way to the yacht hoping that Tristan is backing him up.

Mat holds his weapon at the ready, advancing cautiously. Those skeletons hadn't been the toughest enemies he had faced, in fact their main strength had been their element of surprise. As long as he kept his wits about him, there shouldn't be many more encounters like that. "Hey, you want to check out these crates?" He asked his partner. "I'll see what I can find up deck, you know, check out what was moving up there and where the captain's lodge would be from here."
