Ops, lol.

It's kinda hard to follow and not forget some steps since it takes me lots just to find what WOG, ERA and other new words actually mean. I loaded data, creatures are changed. I think it's okay now.

Are there special cheats for the mod version ? Normal cheats don't seem to work. I didn't disable cheats in WOG menu

Hmm ok I'll try to duplicate the Conflux building problem again, If it does happen again I'll figure out more specifically what exactly happened.

EDIT: Yeah, unable to duplicate the problem, I think a different glitch happened on map to do the Phoenix/Firebird day glitch.

EDIT2: Unable to duplicate the glitch as well,for the Conflux Dwelling, guess it was just a little thing.

(Page 3) You said for mapping that if New Objects patch v1.9 is installed correctly that the Map editors will open fine, where do I install that v1.9patch more specifically? (Couldn't find any threads on it.)

It was just I noticed a lot of objects that were crossed out circles so I need that New Objects Patch to make them work correctly right?

Yeah, that's right.
Install it just into Your HoMM3 folder, of course that one with ERA, HoL, etc., installed previously. Of course if You have ERA-compatible version.

Anyway, I encountered strange critical error. I change random map template, then when I want to create random map, it says that due to template it can't be created. Ok, fine, after some options changing I gave up. So when I tried to change template back to default, game crashed. And when I run game again, nothing changes.
BTW, how exactly is a HoMM3 random map template? Something like random map script in Age of Empires II?

I still didn't noticed animated lakes on adventure map. Strange, those on battlefields appear correctly.

It was ~5th day of the week, when while playing Dungeon I've built upgraded Dragon Cave (or what that building is called, doesn't matter, You know what I mean ). After that, number of available dragons changed to -2 (yeah, minus two), then during next week changed to 0 and there was no one there. Second week after that building was build everything went back to normal, but it was strange.

I encountered the random map problem myself in the past... This isn't related with my mod, after re-installing Heroes III the problem was solved. I actually installed a newer version of ERA and it was solved. Are you sure you have the newer version of ERA II?

As for the animated lakes that doesn't concern me either. Please post problems that are related with my mods only.

The Dragon Cave problem is peculiar indeed I did encounter it in the past as well. But not recently though... I tested it again now and Dungeon works OK. I thought this was conflicting scripts that didn't interact well. Did you change any WOG options around? Are you sure you loaded the default ones properly?

I am playing campaign with cheats and I can't seem to figure out which cheats are supposed to work for hero of light mod.

I changed some minor options in HoL defaults, for example disable monster weeks, I didn't touch anything involved creatures, heroes and towns.

Guys, no offense, but it looks to me most of you are just starting Heroes III within HoL mod. Those "bugs" you describe are known Heroes bugs, nothing to do with HoL, WoG or whatever.

Cheat codes must be WoG, google is your friend here.
Animate lakes: what you want, that they run around the map? They are already in Era, and animations are smother than the original ones, that's all.
Negative money amount: don't amass gold over 99 millions or you will regret it.

Thing is, I didn't have a gold over 99 million. I had like 4 million and then it turned negative.

I mean, seriously, Doc1994 what would my mod have to do with the Gold limit? And Slayer what would it have to do with monster weeks?

For big money, several digits are not displayed by Heroes, so unless we have a script to display it, we can't  know if we have 4 millions or 4 milliards (I think market place shows it until some point)

For negative gold, I don't think it is about limit always, sometimes it goes into negative simply because big amount of money was exchanged, no idea about how much, it occurred to me so many times. Negative money can also have something with month in game, got often Utopia bug, after 12th month, resets treasury to zero. Doc1994, in your case, it may be a combination of both, time spent and money exchanged. Have a prior save?

In any case, those are botched hardcoded things (probably 3DO team did not imagine we will play such maps with +100 level, milliards of gold or +30k stacks in army). Just general bugs, not related to mods.

I think your mod is great, but i've a problem. If there are three creatures in one wintow to recruit (sometink like or or )after I built upgrate dwelling number of creatures stop growth. What is wrong?
And yes, I loadet hol3.2.dat

It is normal not to see some creatures for the first week they are built. It is also normal not to have their growth added:

Falconets in Castle
Gold and Diamond Golems in Tower
Enchanters in Tower
Bards in Dungeon

Are creatures that are added in a form of an external dwelling: You get a standard production rate each week and it is lost the next one.

Some of you seem to have issues with the growth of creatures that have third and fourth slots in them. I myself don't encounter this problem but maybe it is due to the fact that this function uses an ERA plugin known as battery.dll. I included it in the HoL package of course but maybe you need to include it in the WOG folder to.

So, you need to find the Battery.dll file (found in mods/HoLv32/Era plugins) and copy it AGAIN to the original ERA plugins folder (found in mods/WOG/Era plugins). This might fix some problems (though I can't guarantee anything).

One other possible solution is that when this happens you might try to load the game on day 7 of the previous week (from the Autosave that is) and press F12. This reloads the ERM scripts and so maybe the problem can be solved. Again, I'm not sure.

I did some games for a while after doing some maps with the New Objects patch I just installed, and now when I try to start the game it says it needs "Binkw32.dll" "Reinstalling may fix problem" (Basically)

Do you by chance have a copy of that file I could get (And where to put it) and if not should I just reinstall everything then?

I found this dll file in many places in my computer so I don't know where it is needed or not. Reinstall the whole thing If you can't get it to open.
