My Life
I was born on May 15th 1998 at half past midnight.
(Frank Sinatra died on May 14th 1998 at 22:50. Coincidence?)
I was the first child, a little boy named Alexander.
My life started off very well. My family was big, my mum and dad got married in 1997, we've had a lot of friends and the celebration of my birth was HUGE!
My grandpa was in love with fishing and he'd rented a house in a small village on Danube (that's where I live right now; will explain why). He quit his old job and became a fisherman. Before that, he worked in a copper mine as some accountant.
My grandma worked as a nurse at that time.
My dad was on a college, but he quit and joined my grandpa as a fisherman.
Very soon, they've built a house.
At that point, my dad met my mum, they got married and in 9 months I was born. We've also moved there for good and all we've left back in the city was an apartment...
My grand, grandma died the same year and I never got to meet her.
17 moths after my birth, my brother was born (I won't name him, he can do that for himself).
Everything was calm untill the car crash...
*takes a deep breath*
I was in the car with my grandpa. Nothing was out of the ordinary, but then, suddenly, a car was approaching from the other way and it was moving so fast that it has crashed into ours (the driver must have been drunk, too because he hit us on a straight road).
The glass shatered, I hurt my eye and broke my leg, my grandpa... I still don't clearly know what happened to him right then, but he survived for a few hours before he passed away.
This happened on September 16th 2001 (I was 3 years old).
That's when things got thougher for me...
My dad was working as a fisherman, my mum was working in a hotel and my grandma was on a pension. We lived a normal, middle class life.
I was growing up... By the time I was 4, I looked like a twig - small, thin and unnoticable.
Since our house was on the village's end, I didn't have any contact with kids in it - I grew up playing mostly with my brother, which resulted in my unsocialness (is that even a word?!).
So, when I got my first computer (must've been when I was 5), I knew it was the right thing for me.
Pretty soon, I learned basic English, learned how to do basic math, I knew how to read, how to draw - I could've skipped the first grade! (but I didn't)
Age: 7
Year: 2005
I started firtst grade... the horror has started...
I was an outcast, the black sheep, I honestly didn't know anyone in my class (which consisted of 6 students).
The first day was a dissapointment - I had homework! Actual homework! I couldn't belive that, but what was even more worse was that I was forced to do it because it was "my duty"!
GAH! From that day, I hated school more than anything in the world.
The years I spent in school were... stresfull and because of that I have gained weight, became a fat little nerd and you know how life is when you're like that...
But, on the bright side, I was the best student. Clumsy, weak, yes, but I was the only one who managed to get straight As.
When I was 8, we got a new computer and I discovered the world of Heroes which will later lead me to HC...
Age: 10
Year: 2008
The worst year of my life...
I was in the fourth grade. Life as usual, homework, computer, computer again.
October 8th 2008
I was doing my homework when I heard something like crying. I was scared, and I ran outside to see what's happening.
Right then, I felt something in my stomach, something strange, something that I never felt before.
I don't know how to describe it - maybe something like a tickle that hurt you.
My brother and I were told to go to our neigbours.
Why?
After an hour or so, we've felt sleepy and we went back home...
...and I had what to see - some of my dad's friends sitting in front of my house.
They were crying, sobbing.
I was sure something bad has happened and I was right:
My dad had a car accident
I've lost two things that day:
My dad and faith in God.
I was crying, praying, crying, praying and nothing happened.
I had a dream where he survived the car crash, but my dream wasn't true - he was dead...
THE ANGER, RAGE, SADNESS!
I was simply devastated.

Age: 11
Year: 2009
The 5th grade started.  I wasn't really happy because of it - more subjects, more teachers, more school.
This was the year when I started to transition from childish to pre-teen. It was also the year when I discovered one of my main flaws - talking through my nose. That wasn't funny at all because I was mocked ((and still am)) and laughed at. This combined with my weight problems that I had back then made me look like a total idiot.
Still, I was still a great student and I even made some friends.
Everything stayed the same till the 7th grade...
Age: 13/14
Year: 2011/2012
This is when I started to listen to rock and metal music. Changed my life completely and started to grow even bigger while losing some of my weight ((started to like the long hair style too)).
Anyway, this was an awesome year because I joined HC. The experience started and I could finally find a place to talk in English. YAY!
Will continue when I feel like it.

Do you remember all of this? Because at 14, I could barely remember stuff from 2-3 years ago, let alone when I was freaking four. Everything before me being ten years old is pretty much gone. Sure, there is the rare event that stuck in my head, but for the most part...

You surely would remember if you were with many or few children around you.
It lasts for some years of your life and even some moments give their stamp on your memory.

Because HC has left a mark on me.
I feel like I can trust you more than anyone in RL.
Maybe it's because you understand me better than anyone I've ever met.
I think of you as my family, my brothers and sisters - we all tease eachother, but at the end of the day we all want the the best for everyone.

Yo, there, NoobX. I think it's special you feel like sharing this with us. You remind me of myself when I was a noob, back in the day and I would tell people about myself without being asked for it too fast. I used to be very insecure and in fact, I still am in a lot of ways and I have had similar things happen to me when I was ten. I also lost my father when I was ten. He had lung cancer. I never felt, erm, that sad or destroyed by it or anything, though, so I guess we both experienced this in different ways. It's something that only really troubled me, later, when I had no idea what to do with my life.
What I basically want to tell you is that you are not alone and, like, there are people that care, even if some HC members have the sensitivity and sense of comedy of a brick, sometimes.
