And here comes the final round! Ready? Go!

ROUND 8!

- Bonus question from last round: How do Orcs use their partially demonic blood in magic?

- Where did Duke Gerhardt make his last stand? Bonus: Why is this place particularly well named?

- Which Human Clans originally inhabited the lands now united in the Holy Empire? Bonus: Which nationalities do the these clans represent?

- Nowadays, magic is divided into 7 different elemental schools. List them and list which kind of magic users favor these schools.

- In magic? Well, their shamans can open portals to Sheogh and orcs are immune to most demonic magic thanks to their blood. But of course, most notably, Blood magic. Blood caller from DoC is very good example of it's usage.

- Isegrim, capitol of the Wolf Duchy. Irony is that Isegrim is poetic name for Wolf in fables. Or somehow connected with real black metal band "Isegrim" and statue of wolf from black marble.

- Griffin - Russia/Slavic.
Stag - Ireland.
Unicorn - England.
Wolf - Germany.
Falcon - Ireland/celtic (Falcon and Stag are two branches of the same family)
Greyhound - France
Bull - Italian/Spanish
Also, you say "originally", that's why Raven isn't there.

- Now I see why you didn't post link to last Q&A. He is an Angel.

- Light (Priests of the Hole Empire and Angels), Dark (Faceless, DE priests/witches, Necromancers), Fire (Dwarven priests, Demons), Air (Human priests of Ylath, Orc Shamans), Earth (Druids, Necromancers, Orc Shamans), Water (Hashima priests and monks, Necromancers).
Primordial magic - Necromancers (Order and Necromancy), Demons and cultists (Chaos), Asha's orders (Order), Nethermancers (Void).
There're also Wizards, but they haven't any favoured school because they can use all magic without prayers to Dragon-Gods, Orcs with Blood magic (maybe a branch of Prime).  Hope missed no one.

War_Overlord

- Bonus question from last round: How do Orcs use their partially demonic blood in magic?

I'd say that is is through the use of their racial, bloodrage, mostly. But also other faction skills, such as First blood and blood fury.
Potential Dreamwalker indirectly could see to be "using" their demonic blood when they fight it during their passage to the spirit world and become deformed but wiser/stronger for it. The core maulers also benefit from their blood being spilled (incresed dmg) and as mentioned before in this quiz, the eyes of the enraged cyclops have been called portals to Sheogh itself, and they definitly use that power when they channel their anger into a powerful beam.

And if we were to look at Heroes V too:
- Racial Bloodrage, once again, harnessing that power to boost their troops. Also any associated skills, from memory of our blood to bloodfire and hero specials.
- The shamans could also be seen as using their blood, but it is a bit more vague there (even with the blood sacrifice of goblins and all, since it is for mother earth/father sky).

- Where did Duke Gerhardt make his last stand? Bonus: Why is this place particularly well named?

Hmm, the capitol city is his duchy Isegrim? As for the name... I remember something about it not being hopspitable to strangers (Icy grim?) but dear Wikipedia would suggest that it is also a poetic name for wolf, which would be a lovely "coincidence" considering the duchy Gerhardt represented.

- Which Human Clans originally inhabited the lands now united in the Holy Empire? Bonus: Which nationalities do the these clans represent?

I'd say that the griffin are slavic, the wolf are germans, unicorn are English,I know that stag and falcon are actually the same since the latter spawned the earlier (like griffins and ravens)however I cannot recall who they are supposed to represent. Something british too?
and hmm, I'm gonna guess from what I learned in heroes 5 for the rest:
Bull duchy is where Ornella comes from... Italian?
Greyhound spawned Isabel ( I'm gonna go with French, constantly being invaded)

- By the time Belketh "discovered" Necromancy, he was already several hundreds of years old. How did he grow to be so old? (Hint: it is not magic)

Erwan explained it in the Q and A, as that he is not human, but an angel. And angels don't really age it seems, or at least they got the ability to live for veeeery long. And then reinkarnate into celestials

- Nowadays, magic is divided into 7 different elemental schools. List them and list which kind of magic users favor these schools.

Dark - Necro
Light - Haven
Water - Sanctuary
Air - Sanctuary/Stronghold (Father sky, Monsoon, etc)
Earth - Stronghold
Fire - Inferno
Prime - Faceless? I'd say almost all magic users dig this one.

Elvin

- If one pays attention, the phoenix image can be spotted a few times throughout the game. How many instances have you noticed?

Hmm, could be a planted memory but: The full shantri moon disc, the heroism spell... I probably missed some other ones so I'll guess at 4?

- Highest amount of hp percentage a unit can gain without artifacts.

CAN gain... Well, there are many faction-specific abilities that cannot be comboed as they could not possibly be cast by the same hero.
- MArtyr from haven, racial sanctary, mother earths blessing from Stronghold is rather substantial. However, no unit can get more than 1 of these at a time (and then the sactuary is best if you count the kenshin spec, but if you don't, mother earths blessing gives a massive hp% boost)
- Some units may be quite different, like kenshi (80 hp to 105 instantly with hero spec, that's over a 30% increase right away, greater increase then maulers get from the corresponding hp increase spec)
- Toughness works for all units.
- Mother earths shrin blessing thing

- The unit that benefits the most from hp gains(artifacts included).

Hmm, well sisters/vestals I'd say (Think they mupped about with the passive in patches). They got super low hp, but their passive working or not is based on if their HP total is superior to the opposing stack. So not only do they badly need the tankyness to survive overall, it may save their life in an actual engage if they can pacify enemies thanks to their increased hp.

(Sadly, as seen above, most hp increases are %, which would mean that a high hp unit would benefit more from them, such as the enraged cyclops with its incredebly high hp. And added benefit of not dying poarticularly fast) would also make him a great candidate... Plus he could be targeted mother earths blessing easily, making him have around 500 hp

- Ashan units that practice a fictional martial art in battle. H5 example(s) give extra points.

Heroes 5 (not mentioning up, down or sidegrades):
- War dancers
- Blood maidens

(To me, Rhashakas sure look like dancers too, but no martial art is mentioned really except in these two cases)

Heroes 6:
Kenshin (four waves?)
Kappa (at least the naga appriciates their martial skills)

- What web effects can be seen in the game?
Skeletons web spears, Fate weavers frozen web thing... And the dynasty weapon Arachne active effect.

- A unit whose ability benefits his native faction's damage dealing potential by a fair amount.

Well depends on what you mean by ability. If you mean passive one, the Lich is a great example with it's increased vurnability to darkness on a stick. But ability seems more active, so I'm gonna go for the Spring Spirit/its upgrade: Spirit link power! DOUBLE ALL THE SINGLE TARGET BUFFS! (not that the spring spirit in itself it that great a unit, but if it gets free buffs...)

- Which faction army led by a native hero class has the best odds of playing before a sacred kirin?

Stronghold. Get some bloodrage, rush to that Kirin and club it TO DEATH! Initiative, might power and even the stun, all great options. Plus goblin traps and initiative lowering earth and sky ability, can make trouble for even a sacred Kirin. (and should all fail, let the jaguar warriors jump at em. Kirins are not super tanky for champion units)

- How can one kill enraged cyclopes before their turn comes?

Dance of decay?

- Spells of Ashan that deal might damage. H5 example(s) give extra points.

Heroes 5:
Fist of wrath (remember all those golems!)
Blade barrier
Word of the chief (friendly fire dmg, but still, it is the hero's standard attack in the form of a spell)

Heroes 6:
Power of the horde (which in heroes 5, dealt MAGICAL damage)
Now I'm not sure, but perhaps retribution aura line of spells returns might damage (at least if the attack was might damage)
Pressed attack... doesn't actually deal damage directly, but rather delayed and only in combination with another units action so I'm not sure if it counts. Same with structural dmg, which I guess is a seperate category.

- Unit abilities that can both help and harm you without the unit being controlled or somehow cursed by the opponent.

1. Piercing bolt
2. Charges of pather warrior n juggernaut may mess up your strategies.
3. Mighty slam of upg cyclops
4. Strike and return (no shooter block, but this was patched, right?)
5. Dance of decay (adjacent friendly units may have harmful dmg over timespells for example)
6. For friendly living units: Lamasu and the wail spectre healing abilities no es bueno.
7. And in very specific scenarios: Praetorians retaliate against nearby target thing may be bad, for example if they themselves deal little dmg and attack an upgraded mauler (extra dmg for them, at barely no benefit for you).
8. Undeads being mind-immune and without morale is sometimes great, but it also makes some might-boosting stuff like heroism, less effective.

- Hero abilities that the undead are immune to.

"resistant to poisoning, sickness, blinding and mind attacks"
So anythign about morale, terror, blind etc, just will not work.

- A hero ability icon that pays homage to a well known film.

Taunt, from Monthy Python and the Holy Grail. (Isn't that's a Frenchman btw? kindof funny considering how many of the major ppl involved in the development being french)

- How can you cancel the effects of a taunt that your own hero has cast?

"Just beat it!" In the sense of leaving the area (or, alternativly, just kill em, . In either case if you wanted to do this, why cast it is the first place fool?)

This is the end,
Hold your breath and count to ten..

@Poly +45(OMGWTFBBQ!)

- None
Not even morale and cleave icon? Also on the rally flag, the sea buoy and a coloured window which I've seen in the editor though not sure if it has appeared in any campaigns.

- Tears Hitomi's Kensei can gain 16% or so from Toughness, a +25 flat bonus, and +14% or so from Resilience. The bonus percentage is based on the boosted HP, so Kensei end up with around 140 HP, which is an increase of roughly 55 % from an original HP of 90.(There's also the Crusher specialist, but I can't calculate that from memory. Percentage could be a bit higher, as +7 Hp to Crushers is likely to be a relatively bigger bonus than +25 to Kensei)
I had in mind resilience(13%), toughness(5+6+7%), martyr(+13%) plus adventure locations but your examples are good +3.

- Upg. BoromirCyclops, on account of his temporary resistance to death. Takes more hits to weaken him=more time to retaliate at a higher than normal damage.
Actually it's the lowest hp units that benefit the most due to the +hp artifacts. A goblin would increase the percentage of its initial hp with +4hp a lot more than a cyclops would for instance. Your reasoning is acceptable either way +3

- H5: Blade Dancers and upgs, Stiletto Harpies and upgs(Blood Fury or something?)
H6:
No idea, does Four Waves count? If so, Kensei(and maybe Kenshi to a lesser extent).
Precisely +4+1+1
[Elite among sylvan warriors, certain Elves dedicate their lives to the intricate Elven martial art known as the Battle Dance. Relying on evasion and quick action rather than resistance or brute force, Blade Dancers wear no armor, and are therefore exposed to enemy strikes.]
[Blood Maidens are lightning-fast female warriors who practice a deviant form of the Elven Battle Dance. They move quickly to reach their opponent, strike, and return to their starting place, all in one blur of motion.]
[Certain Deep Nagas are born with four arms, and they are trained to master a combat style known as the Four Waves
that is adapted to their unique anatomy.]

- Freezing Web of Fate Weavers and Webbing Spears visual of upg Skeleton Somethings
Also Arachne's(DW) ability and mother Namtaru's special web +3

- Spirit Link of Mizu-Kami, doubles the effectiveness of any single-target buff such as Waves of Renewal, Eye of the Storm, and even Twin Fangs.
A good one for sure +4

- Stronghold with Jaguar Warriors. Hard, but manageable with the smallest pre-battle ini-boost.
The shaman +5/-5 init certainly helps +4

- And get them to die at once? Easy-peasy, Weavers' Dance of Decay, as it hastens the Boromir-effect.
This +4

- H5:
Fist of Wrath
Power of the Horde
H6:
I suppose Might abilities count as spells now? If so:
Power of the Horde
Pressed Attack
Warcries do not count but you are right about fist. The other is retribution aura +3

- Cyclops smash, Panther charge, Ravager charge(destroying any of your Gates that are in its way) Searing Light, Strike and Stay(block a dangerous shooter, but in the process be exposed to possible harm by creatures that wouldn't have reached You otherwise) Weaver's DoD if surrounding friendly units(but not itself) is affected by Immolation or Burning Rage, Piercing Bolt, Mind spell immunity on non-Undead(no Frenzy or Heroic Charge on them for example. Units: Pit Lord, Maniac, etc)
Pit lord and maniac cannot use heroic charge..? DoD was the tricky one, well played +4

- (Mass)Heroism, Taunt, Heroic Charge, Watery Grave, Mind spells, (Mass) Agony, Sanctuary magic blood ultimate, Resurrection(Haven tears mage ultimate) Life Drain can be cast on them, but they themselves can't be Drained.
(Stronghold blood and tears might first reputation abilities)
Missed serenity and sanctuary blood ultimate works fine on them afaik +3

- Taunt has the Frenchman from Monthy Python and the Holy Grail. This film is also referenced by H3 vanilla's cheat codes.
Bingo +4

- Move away with the creature  You casted it on before the surrounding creatures' turn comes. Silly thing to do, BTW.
Stupidly easy hoho +4

@Simpelicity +22

- Are you doing lore questions now Elvin? I've seen it on the battle map and out of it, the normal map I gess?. I dunno. Feels like you're searching for a lot more though.
Well, you didn't exactly tell me anything..

- I don't remember the numbers so I'll go for approximately 25% when you're haven tears might hero?
Right class wrong number Toughness III alone gives +18%(5+6+7%) and then there's resilience and martyr into the mix +2

- Most likely the unit with the highest HP, because a lot of the gains are in percentages. As for which one that IS, I wouldn't know.... tempted to say cyclopses, but it feels wrong somehow.
According to the math it's actually the opposite, the lowest hp units are the ones that benefit the most. Explanation given in poly's question.

- More lore question? I dunno, ghouls, kappas. Vampires practice the fancy swordplay martial art.
Ghouls and kappas have a martial arts animation yes but it is probably as canon as vampire lords playing death metal Vampires are undoubtedly skilled in swordplay but there is no mention of a specific style +1

- The up. skelly's movement reduction, the fate weaver's web of stopping time thing of her ranged form. Can't think of anything else.
Plus Arachne and mother namtaru +2

- Lich and his dark damage buffing. 3 units deal dark damage, 2 of them being ranged and already very damaging.
Hell yeah! Not to mention that the hero is a dark user himself +3

- Stronghooooold you have to be attacking though.
Yep +3

- Never tried it, but that berzerk-y spell that makes him instantly attack something nearby? I imagine that could trigger his damage before his turn.
Technically that would make his turn come faster but good thinking +2

- the call of the horde ultimate? I don't really know otherwise.
Nah, that's a warcry.

- That was kinda asked round 3. The goblin trap. Cyclops punch. Ravager charge. Specter wail if you happen to have living units with you (like summoned elementals maybe?). Marksman piercing arrow.
Not sure goblin traps affect allies but good that you remembered ghost wail with living units, they boost that resurrection nicely +2

- Heroism, taunt, intimidation, drain life, heroic charge, berzerk, puppet master.
+2

- armaggeddon?
The icon not really but the thought counts +2

- Suicide your unit somewhere?
Easier to just move it +3

@Avonu +39

- None but only these two (excluding Phoenix's ability icons and/or Thunderbird and its pet):
+3

- Mother Earth Shrine +10% HP
Griffin Statue +20% HP
Sanctuary Honour racial ability +14% HP
Paladin's Martyr +12% HP
Toughness +5%/+4%/+5
As Sanctuary doesn't have flying units, that would be wounded Griffin (or Celestial) from Paladin's army: 5+4+5+10+20+12=56%.
Fullest answer yet +4

- Probably it's core unit which dies at most - I guess it would be Maulers, Maniacs or Goblins. But I would say it is Sister as she has the lowest amount of HPs.
You are on the right track +4

- Elven Sword/Wind Dancers, Dwarven Brawlers, Kensei, Centaur Marauders
Man, I forgot the dwarf brawlers/berserkers! The marauders do not mention a specific martial art but it is clear that they have a unique kind of fighting, something also implied in their description +3+1+1

- Skeletor Spearmen Webbing Spears, Namtaru Freezing Web, Mother Namtaru Nightmare Web, Arachne clone of Skeleton Spearman's web.
+4

- Lich cursing attack which increase dark damage by 20%.
+3

- Sanctuary? As Nagas are vulnerable to air damage and Coral/Pearl Priestess are only unit doing air damage.
Cheesy answer as they are the ones with sacred kirins to begin with. Though priestess init reducing shots are a good addition to the answer +2

- Hit him to death in previous turn.
Casts Poison/Agony/Burning Fire on him by spells/artifacts/units abilities.
Yes but without dance of decay he'd still die on the next turn.

- Earthqueake, Erosion
Fist of Wrath, Blade Barrier
I did not consider spells that deal structural dmg but the other two are correct. Retribution aura missing +3

- Juggernaut charge.
Cyclops stunning blow.
Fire Elemental AoE effect when it die.
Marksmen Piercing Shot.
Spectre's Healing when you have living unit close to target.
Lamasu Aura in case as above.
Centaur when it moves before it counterattack and can block your other units.
+3

- Any with morale effect on it (so no Heroism even if it increase other parametrs then Morale).
Any mind affected skills (Terror for example).
Also heroic charge, intimidation and taunt +2

- Taunt - French castle guard from Monthy Python and Holy Grail.
+3

- Move your unit away from place where taunted enemy is?
+3

@Dave Jame +20

- None

- Martyr plus toughtnes
Honor plus toughtness
Close enough +2

- Vestal/Coral priestess
+3

- The basic answer would be Kappa, but the question is what is martial art in your dictionary. It could be all unarmed units like the raveger or even such units as Kenshi
H5 examples: Brawler and Shamans
I was referring more to lore-confirmed combat styles such as four waves, battle dance and berserking(hence fictional martial arts) but that is a fairly acceptable answer +2

- Webbing spear
Frozen wev
+2

- I do not understan this question
Spring spirit with its link and lich dark embrace were two good examples of amplifying the factions damage dealing capabilities.

- Stronghold
+3

- IDK

- As far as I remember there are no "Spells" that do might damge, only active abilites such as the power of the hord, but that is not a spell butan active ability
H5 power of the hord, Magic fist (or what was it called)
Magic fist is correct +2

- Piercing arrows (Marksman)
Cyclopses smash
Incomplete I'm afraid.

- All abilities influencing morral, doing Poison damage, Diseases, Blind effects and Mind Influence effects.
I'd forgotten poison, silly me +3

- Taunt
+3

- IDK

@Seddy +38

Excellent answer +3

- Heroes 5 (not mentioning up, down or sidegrades):
- War dancers
- Blood maidens
(To me, Rhashakas sure look like dancers too, but no martial art is mentioned really except in these two cases)
Heroes 6:
Kenshin (four waves?)
Kappa (at least the naga appriciates their martial skills)
+3+1+1

- Skeletons web spears, Fate weavers frozen web thing... And the dynasty weapon Arachne active effect.
+3

- Well depends on what you mean by ability.
+3

- Stronghold.
Bingo Though I wouldn't count on bloodrage as it doesn't carry over to the next turn +3

- Dance of decay?
Yes +3

- Heroes 5:

I consider word of chief, pressed attack and power of the horde as warcries but you got them all. And yes how I loved punching those golems +3

+3

- "resistant to poisoning, sickness, blinding and mind attacks"
So anythign about morale, terror, blind etc, just will not work.
+3

-Taunt, from Monthy Python and the Holy Grail. (Isn't that's a Frenchman btw? kindof funny considering how many of the major ppl involved in the development being french)
That might have played a role +3

- "Just beat it!" In the sense of leaving the area (or, alternativly, just kill em, . In either case if you wanted to do this, why cast it is the first place fool?)
Err testing to see if it works? +3

Damn, imagine if you'd posted first too.

Thanks everyone for participating, we had a good run and I am glad if I sparked your interest a bit. For your continued effort and participation I cast a qp shower!

Special congratulations to Avonu, for impressive scores and being the first to hit 100 points But there cannot be only one!

Polyglot, Seddy, Dave Jame and Simpelicity have definitely earned their reward with consistent scoring and undeniable display of resourcefulness as well as ingame/lore knowledge. Good job guys!

Time to update the scores and hand out some qps As soon as war overlord posts his own answers he'll be getting one too, he had it coming

- Never tried it, but that berzerk-y spell that makes him instantly attack something nearby? I imagine that could trigger his damage before his turn.
Technically that would make his turn come faster but good thinking +2

I disagree with your explanation mostly because most of your HP gains from hero skills are percentages, so percentage stays the same from unit to unit. The actual HP gain is higher for higher HP units though, because 18% is worth more for them.

Also I checked, and the berzerk-y spell specifically states that it doesn't consume the turn, so no, it doesn't technically make its turn go faster.

I didn't ask who gets most hp in total but who gets the most out of them. So if a 17hp unit gets +3 from robe of prophet, +2 from iridescent pearl plus +3 from lifeblood pendant it gets +47% on its initial hp while a 300 hp unit would only gain +2.67%. And if we add the percentages from skills/locations, the 17hp unit still gets a better percentage than the 300hp one. Less hp per unit but greater hp increase nonetheless.

About berserk, it makes the unit 'act' whereas I am more interested in how to get the effect before the unit gets to act. The wording is not to be taken that literally, I'm not a lawyer Either way I tested it and there are no casualties in the frenzied attack, the cyclopes die only when their turn comes.

Oh haha I thought artifacts were excluded in that one too. You are absolutely right.

And I'm sad cyclopses won't take their damage on berzerk. Mind you it doesn't surprise me that much either. They don't take it every time they move.

@ Poly: +4,5

I'm gonna skip the answers to which you've aswer that you did not know. Since it's quite clear what the rating for those is gonna be.

- Natural lifespan then? Eating lots of vegetables and drinking a cup of red wine daily?
I'm gonna give you 2 points for natural lifespan, since it is technically correct even if you did not know it yourself.

- Prime IDK, Wizards maybe? [No
Dark Necromancers and assorted evil snows [More or less
Light Followers of Elrath? [Yes
Earth Orcs, on account of Mother Earth? [More or less
Air Orcs, on account of Father Sky?[More or less
Fire Inferno mages [More or less
Water Nagas [Yes
I'm gonna award you 2,5 points. Not conventional, but what the hey, it's the last round. You've got to many right for just 2 points but not enough for 3.

@Simple: +5

- In rituals sometimes, like Tohgrul.
Well, yes. But that's not enough. Still 1 point though.

- Um, Stag, Griffin, Wolf, Falcon....... don't remember the rest.
Wolf, Falcon & Griffin. 3/6 therefor 2 points, no bonus.

-Alchemy?
No.

- Fire, demons love this. [More or less
Water, nagas love this. [Yes
Dark, undead et al. dark types love this. [More or less
Light, humans love it. [More or less
Air and Earth, which technically are the orc domains (mother earth/father sky), though they don't do magic much. [More or less
And then primal, which isn't really anyone's specialty, so I'll go with the mages of the 7 cities for that one, 'cause they're the most into pure magic. [No
2 points

@Avonu: +21

-"Once the Orc bleeds, the smell of his own blood invigorates him and he grows stronger."
Of course Orcs can use their blood to summon demons, as Torghul did, but it's the worst crime among Orcs.
Blood rituals is correct but not the entirety of it. 2 points

-Isegrim: "The capitol of the Wolf Duchy is known for many things, but a friendly welcome is not one of them."
Ise(n)grim is correct, first correct 4 point. No bonus. And for the Record. Isengrim is Gerhardt's Palace-stronghold, not the capitol of the Wolf Duchy, that is Nilshaven.

-Falcon - Celts [Yes, they are also described as Irish but I'll not spilt hairs over that
Griffin - Slavic [Yes, Again Russo-Slavic, but..
Wolf - Holy Roman Empire (Germany) [Yes
Bull - Italia [Yes, Italian-Spanish(Mediterranean)
Greyhound - French [yes
Unicorn - England [Yes
Stag - cousins of Falcons [Not one of the original clans.
You got them all and you got them correct(more or less) and you're the first. 4 points + 3 bonus for nationalities.

-See last YT Q&A - Belketh was an Angel.
First Correct. +4

-Fire - Demons and Dwarves [Yes
Air - Mages and Orcs [Almost
Water - Nagas [Yes
and Earth - Orcs and Elves [Yes
Light - Holy Empire, Angels [Yes
Darkness - Necromancers, Faceless and Dark Elves [Yes
Prime Magic - Mages and, as they are mages too, Necromancers. [Necromancers is correct, mages is doubtable.
Since we difine correct as over 80%, i'm gonna say this is first correct. +4

@ Dave: +16

-Isegrim
Correct +3

-Bull (Italy [Yes
Grayhound (France [Yes, but it is Greyhound
Wolf (Germany [Yes but as posed above, Holy Roman Empire is technically a better term since Germany only came into being in 1871 or 1815 depending on what you favor
Grifin (Slavic Europe [Yes
Falcon ??
Unicorn (England [Yes

Stag = Falcon offsprings (Based on Ireland) [Yes, but you failed to reverse that the right way round
raven = Falcon offsprings [No
+3 for getting about 80% and +3 bonus

-He was an angel
+3 correct

-Air (Strom Caller)
Earth (Earh shaper)
Fire (Pyromancer)
Water (Tide master/flood conjurer
Light (Confessor
Dark (Reaper
Prime (Balsamer
I was directing at the races/factions who favour such and such schools, but this is creative enough, and technically correct, to earn you 4 points.

@Sandro (No points since you don't compete, but as usual I'm going to judge your answers anyway)

- In magic? Well, their shamans can open portals to Sheogh and orcs are immune to most demonic magic thanks to their blood. But of course, most notably, Blood magic. Blood caller from DoC is very good example of it's usage.
I'd give this an acceptable.

- Isegrim, capitol of the Wolf Duchy. Irony is that Isegrim is poetic name for Wolf in fables. Or somehow connected with real black metal band "Isegrim" and statue of wolf from black marble.
Correct + full bonus for knowing that Ise(n)grim is the alegorical wolf of medieval fables. I doubt it's the black metal though.

- Griffin - Russia/Slavic.
Stag - Ireland.
Unicorn - England.
Wolf - Germany.
Falcon - Ireland/celtic (Falcon and Stag are two branches of the same family)
Greyhound - France
Bull - Italian/Spanish
Also, you say "originally", that's why Raven isn't there.
Fully Correct.

- Now I see why you didn't post link to last Q&A. He is an Angel.
I just forgot to do that, but it is correct.

You've not missed one but you've a few things incorrectly.

@ Seddy +22,5

- I'd say that is is through the use of their racial, bloodrage, mostly.

I'm going to give this a technically correct of 3,5 points.

- Hmm, the capitol city is his duchy Isegrim? As for the name... I remember something about it not being hopspitable to strangers (Icy grim?) but dear Wikipedia would suggest that it is also a poetic name for wolf, which would be a lovely "coincidence" considering the duchy Gerhardt represented.
As I said before, it's not the capitol, but you are correct and are the first to get the bonus correct(since we do not count Sandro). 3+4. Also I don't think it is a coincidence.

- I'd say that the griffin are slavic, the wolf are germans, unicorn are English,I know that stag and falcon are actually the same since the latter spawned the earlier (like griffins and ravens)however I cannot recall who they are supposed to represent. Something british too?
and hmm, I'm gonna guess from what I learned in heroes 5 for the rest:
Bull duchy is where Ornella comes from... Italian?
Greyhound spawned Isabel ( I'm gonna go with French, constantly being invaded)
Correct enough, both for the answer and the bonus. But I'm going to give you an extra bonus point for being the only one who got it correctly that the Ravens are an offshoot of the Griffins. 3+4

- Erwan explained it in the Q and A, as that he is not human, but an angel. And angels don't really age it seems, or at least they got the ability to live for veeeery long. And then reinkarnate into celestials
+3 Correct

- Dark - Necro
Light - Haven
Water - Sanctuary
Air - Sanctuary/Stronghold (Father sky, Monsoon, etc)
Earth - Stronghold
Fire - Inferno
Prime - Faceless? I'd say almost all magic users dig this one.
+2. for acceptable

P.S.
I'm going to explain all the magic stuff after I have eaten in the Lore thread.

Btw, this quiz thing has been really interesting and the tactic tips and stuff in it has kindof made me want to buy the DLCs, just because of the new dynasty weapons and so on. And so, thank you Elvin and Overlord, for making this great thing
