Creature texture mod

DOWNLOAD:
PART1
PART2
Part1+Part2=~250MB

INSTALL:
Extract with winrar, both files must be in the same plase for this to work. After extraction you will get file Data18.orc. rename it to DataXX.orc, where XX is your highest Data.orc number +1 in you main game directory . After that, just put file it into your main game directory. Enjoy. It should work with ANY version of the game.
UNINSTALL: Just delete the file, or put it elsewhere.
REMEMBER to uninstall it before applying any official patch. After that, you can install it back the same way as before.

Hi all.
I was thinking of making real color themes for factions. So I started with Inferno pink/red theme (except for cerberus). Also I'm correcting all textures to make creature features more visable, so not all creatures will look different, you will have to take a closer look into some of them to see differences. Screenshots:

A good idea and the colours are well chosen if subtle. What I dislike about h6 upgrades is the overly bright colours, like the shiny lacerator bones and the breeder mother's oh so bright yellow spots. One of the reasons why the spidery necro champion looks better than its respective upgrade.

I'm quite curious how you'll change the rest of the factions

Btw would the mod cause any issues in multiplayer if one of the two players did not have it?

I was thinking about red/black for Inferno, but left black for Necro
Well those bright colors can be changed, but it's ok for me , especially because no one looks so closely to the creatures as in my screenshots. But I could make some changes specially for you after finishing whole MOD

There should not be any issues in multiplayer, because it's only skins, no other changes, but needs testing.

Oh s..t, forgot about icons.I'll change it with other faction

EDIT: I finished Haven theme. it will be blue/gold (was cyan/yellow, similar). Not many changes, some are not very noticeable , but I hope you will like it.

I think the changes look good but are too small to really matter. I have always liked the thought of a christmas skin for sanctuary but that is probably way too much and silly.

Well I make it a little better event if I dont change color. But anyway, I'm making it for myself and because I like modding, I just share my work with community. I will share the mod after finishing all factions.

I rather liked the combination of green/red on the upgrades, black/red makes them more.. plain. Basic units look great though the jagwar's green seems somewhat unfitting, as is the goblins white er skirt.

This would be great. I was thinking about it too, but there's no possibility yet. Hopefully the situation will change later, like it changed with H5.(I mean modding)

I changed Jaguar Warrior and Goblin a little bit. Should be better now.

Oh yes much better I like how you've toned up some small details in sanctuary but I rather liked the original kensei/sacred kirin/kappa shoya's colour I am curious how the sacred kirin would look with the shoya's green, that might look nice.

may i add that this is excellent work! as for the sanctuary, i would suggest that you keep the blue theme (it makes more sense than green IMO) but keep the yellow/golden details!
and if possible since moding in something that is do-able, please do something about the mizu kamis and the spring spirits to separate them from the water elemental. maybe add some gold/yellow in the mizu kamis and some white in the spirng spirits! still great work thanks

Well I changed kappa's, kirin's and kensei's texture to look better, here they are:



Now about Necropolis...it was more like an experiment, I tried to add red for unupgraded versions, just to check if it looks good. I also tried to change that bright yellow to be more greenish and darker, so it would be more Necro-like. so theme is something like black+grey+red/black+grey+green.This is what I've done:

i like the red it looks more "bloody" still according to lore the whole green effect is because the poison that they drink etc etc. plus a red is a "warm" color, and green a "cold" color. i would  suggest to just make the green less radiant in both basic and upgraded version. still red looks good and evil! i'm torn, either way it's cool.
sorry if i'm spamming you ,but can you add gold details to the mizu kamis? and if so does this mod work?i mean i download it and i have better looking creatures?

I don't see a big difference in a lot of them, but I gotta say I absolutely love the look of the new Spinner/Weaver with the red colors.

really? i think it will fit the sanctuary color pattern and it will definetely separate them from spring spirits and water elemetals. those three can be easily confused in terms of colors. if it's not that of a big trouble try it for yourself. i think it will look amazing!
the other factions look great so when you finalize the whole thing and put it in a zip i would most appreciate a download link

with some bad photoshop this is what spring spirits would look like with gold. i kinda like it. they are wearing ornaments and the gold color makes sense for them and for the faction pattern. for your consideration

also is there moding for heroes? the sanctuary ones are too green
