Blank Campaign Menu

Hi All

Please can someone help me. I have played HOMM5 for quite some time and got upto the 4th Campaign 2nd scenario. After i completed this scenario it seems that the Campaign menu is blanked out and i cannot carry on further. I have reloaded from my last saved game and replayed but still no luck. I have backed up the save files and campaign.sav file and uninstall and then reinstall heroes. A new profile shows all campaigns but once i load the old profile the campaign menu is blanked out. Please can someone give me some advice as to what needs to be done. I am only on version 1.0 would upgrading the version with patches help? Thanks.
