I had a great duel with Elvin which he won. Congrats

The battle was quite even(ish) but Elvin got a really great terrain advantage with rocks forcing me to fight in a chokepoint, right next to a stack of lamassu. Not ideal.
Also Taunt. Don't use it against the undead kids :S
But other then that, I had a blast. Really nice match!

Video coming soon and this one is actually good! So you wait for it!

Had a most enjoyable game with pancakes, his chieftain battling my reaper. The first game was lost to a screen freeze and a missing autosave(&^%#@^%@#&%!!) but testimony to Elvin Luck I got pirate armour and bone spaulders again! Seriously what are the odds?! And the best part? Pancakes overloaded on magic defense, it was a battle of 20 defense necromancer versus 20 resistance barbarian Sadly the battlefield was most unkind to him and my turtling into a corner protected by obstacles certainly didn't help. But he adapted well with reinforcements on his centaurs(+22 centaurs omg!) and a basic sky&earth on my weavers. Between basic and mass sky&earth I lost some and those archery II centaurs with goblins were relentless! But after necromancy III kicked in and I revived 10 weavers the game was over. He could not break through my lamasu wall and my mass agony / chain lightning repertoire weakened his forced steadily. Great game all the same

That concludes my games, pancakes tears stronghold out.

Yup, artifacts and terrain can affect the outcome of a duel, but that's the nature of the game!

Why is it that when you on an artifact row, there sometimes appears 2 or even 3 times the same artifact? I had 3 Hearthguard regals options on the row which seemed a waste of choice playing with my necro hero....

It's probably all random, just would be cool if, when an artifact appears, it doesn't appear again....especially for relic and on the same row...

The initiative bar does not drop to its normal values when bloodrage expires at the end of the turn. It only refreshes once the first unit acts on the next turn so don't trust the bar

Is it important for orcs and sanc to cast their mass racials at the start of the turn (assuming you have filled gauge)? Because it lasts only one turn, and can be difficult to know when it expires....

Some queries relating to my last duel:
- Does Heroic charge work when used in conjunction with Feral Charge or Mighty Slam from Orcs (i.e any creature abilities)?
- Do Dreamweavers' special (sky & earth) do extra damage on enemy if your hero has proficiency in Earth Magic?

Elvin, you can mark off my blood orc for duel comp(was used against Locksley).

Hmm.. You get the 2+ movement bonus but not the damage bonus. Probably because the ability description says that the cyclop/panther warrior will do normal damage. I think it would be too insane otherwise. So it's better to use rush!

Well... Just like the might power affects your army's might damage, your magic power affects your army's magic damage. +3 to earth magic will increase your dreamweaver s magic damage. However, I'm not so sure about that +6 % to all earth spells.... *shrug* dunno about that one.

No it doesn't, as confirmed by you guys above.

- Do Dreamweavers' special (sky & earth) do extra damage on enemy if your hero has proficiency in Earth Magic?
No it doesn't. The earth damage done is based on stack size (so doesn't matter about hero's proficiency in Earth Magic).

That video turned out nice You are always in such a rush, take a little more time to see things though, I don't bite Pressed attack, rush and heroic charge are always good to have regardless of reputation choice. Also luck and morale are great on barbarians, same for archery III if only for the goblins. These guys were damaging already witout it! You seemed very hesitant to come close, it would be a bad idea for me to leave my position just to attack you. Especially with you having counterstrike III. I allowed you to hit my vamps with mighty slam because otherwise there would be an open hole through which a rushed dreamreaver could block my spiders. You are right about harpies, on second turn I would use them to get closer so that I can block the spiders and skelies next. That would buy some extra time to break through even if those lamasu did not look like they would fall anytime soon.. Your units lacked initiative at some point due to chain lightning applying stun. And regarding the choice between evasive maneuvers, stormwinds and stand your ground, I think I would have prefered one of the first two. My melee units were hardly a threat, it was mostly my ranged fire and spells, the bulk of it being magical damage. And centaurs go through agony at double the pace because shoot and move counts as two separate actions just like getting morale, it can trigger agony and regeneration both. A silly bug, hope to get it fixed. As I hope to get the spider ranged damage reduced.. PS regeneration is affected by enemy magical defense so it would probably not be a very good pick with a might hero, especially against a magic one.

Fun game, good cast.

I have defeated arviseme in mortal combat and am currently feasting on his immortal soul, even though it was inferno might blood vs his haven might tears.

Guardian angel 4 was OP, but it didn't come into effect much. However, gating came into it A LOT >
I think Inferno might even be over-powered with this amount of troops... oh happy days

Oh yeah, also arvisme also attacked me on his turn before he ended for an autosave and before we rolled for attack. I got mardy so we restarted, and had to re-roll the artifacts, and boy did my new ones suck. Ah well, at least I still won

I very much enjoy might vs might matches Especially inferno since it has to resort more to dirty fighting than spellcasting.

I never rolled for first atac till now, that s why i attacked.

About the fight, tears heaven might is the weakest might faction choice, cos of low initiative, low atac power. (those who don t belive me play a duel with yourself see if u ever can beat a magic blood inferno with haven might tears).
Artefacts were ok, but no initiative ones to give me a chance to strike first.

Terain was not in my favor, numerous rocks blocked path.

But, the duel itself was fun. Now who s next?
