Maybe I am the last person on Earth who does not know how to rush in Desert War

Can anyone teach me the principles? I play 130% (rock) because I like the AI.

Right now I take Malekith, build guild level 2 for lightning and go straight for enemy's castle. (I weaken the titans with 2-3 secondary heroes) but I end up with only some 50 torglos 20 harpies and 3-4 eyes.

Sometimes I have slow... sometimes not. With slow seems easier. The biggest problem seems to be mana. (I cannot have vortex and guild because i'm gone since day 1).

Am I missing something?

Also some advices on other types of play are welcome.
