But wow 28th of february. I'm really impressed. Didn't they originally say they AIMED for march? Which I read as "it's gonna be delayed till october". I hope we can get some screenshots / gameplay soon. Maybe creature artworks + descriptions like we got for MM6?=)

Great, a discussion about a games name. Because that is THE most important thing here 
And about it's similarity to Shadow of Death (SoD). Just add H6 SoD and problem solved. It's still better then reboots like NFS Most Wanted. How confusing for the search engine is that!
I will not dispute about the expansions name, because it's the content that matters really...
PS: I still hoped for the addition of another faction. You know, with all this Heroes site redesign and all...

I'd go for "Shapes of Darkess".And as for the questions of how many more expansions,at least 1 that includes Academy,but maybe 3(1 Academy,1 Sylvan,1 Fortress).

I'd rather it be delayed and not be buggy like the original, as opposed to getting an early release date full of glitches.

I know it was mentioned a couple of times already, that there will be no "big" additions like RMG or ST, but what I have in mind are things like an additional skill tree, redesign of older mechanics or new mechanics (not counting the Dungeon new racial trait of course) and so on. The game will be standalone so it gives some room to make new things. Or will it only be the base game with one additional faction and two campaigns plus eventual bug fixes (or more bugs  ). Do you guys have any guesses or hopes?

Judging the state of the game and Ubi answer #3, I don't expect a lot. A few additions (neutral creatures, dinasty weapons, adventure map buildings) and the faction + campaigns + bugs.
Maybe we'll have more info soon, with the upcoming HC Q&A

Given that they admitted they can't alter game mechanics, there's no hope to see anything big incoming. All you'll see will be creatures using existing mechanics/abilities and more colored stuff. Basically, this xpack will only be a bigger DLC that they'll sell for more money.
Guesses :
1. More bugs
2. Long time to fix bugs
3. "New" creatures created by a recombination of existing abilities
4. More recolored stuff
Hopes ?
I have only one hope ... it's that Shades of Darkness is such a failure that Ubi sells the license to a company that actually cares about its customers ... but seeing the comments of some fanbois ... that won't happen.

Selling such a franchise to a smaller but dedicated company would be for the best I guess, but it's not gonna happen.
And by new mechanics I thought about something like Shadow of Death additions which introduced damaging moats or the possibility to buy upgraded and non-upgraded units in cities, if I remember correctly...
