Please shut up.. I'm one of those who you said I should feel sorry for. I got the game preodered of 80€ and do you heat me complaining? Do you hear me complaining about the hundreds of hours I but into the game myself, into its community? But beg my pardon, I'm playing the game right now. And unlike people like you I do not have a problem with it.
The game was not been worked on? Really.. There were no DLC's there is not a Expansion coming out in less then a mounth and a half?
I feel sorry for those people who work on the game, just because such people like you. You have the choice. You had to choice to buy it, you have the choice to play. They do not. They live from it. And they have to read such trash as you just wrote, totaly ignoring all the work that has been done.
Everybody could do better, but if you want things to be better start with your self and do not bully somebody just because you have the oportunity to do so. Even if the persons job is to hear you out. You will achieve nothing but the persons sad mental state, and sad people do not do a very well job. Heroes VI is in exactly the state as the communit deservs it...

For Heroes VI, certainly.
Unless they overhaul absolutely everything. And the chances of that happening are smaller than the end-times starting friday.
But there is always hope for Heroes VII.

I dunno, Ubi is starting to run out small-time development companies.
Maybe they have to outsource the game to Asia,
and we get a HoMM were all factions are based on Asian mythology except one which is based on Greek?

Easy there Jame Dave 
I'll be the first to admit that what happened to H6 was a sad affair but I'm still enjoying the game and having a blast in the custom duel tournament. But I have no illusions, without sim turns or RMG this game can never become truly great. A statement i read that I most agree with is that the core of the game is good but it just misses content and replayability. I am hoping that the addon will deliver there and hopefully fix the remaining issues(You can bet I'll do what is within my power to see this through) but I do not expect a really good second addon with two races. Realistically speaking I'll be glad if we get another similar to the first with sylvan or academy and that is sad on so many levels. For now I am content with H6 and duel of champions but I yearn for a return of the golden H5 days where numerous people played, made new maps and worked on amazing mods. I look forward to H7 to usher this era back..

Who says there'll even be a H7? And if by some miracle a H7 does happen, what are the chances of it coming before our generation gets tired of/plain too old for video games? I dunno about You, but in 6-7 years I won't be playing much anymore.

You have a crystal ball in which you can see the future? 
It all depends, really. "Our generation"? I started playing computer games somewhere around 1985, with the rise of the Commodore 64. I was around 10 years old or so around then. There was a short lull around '90, just before the rise of commercial PC's (my parents bought a 386 as first PC after the Commodore). But ever since that moment, I've been playing computer games - a good 25 years of computer games below the belt and still going at it (without being addicted, I might add - I consider it a healthy passtime or hobby if you like but I can step away from it and do other things just as easily).
For sure, my gaming patterns have changed throughout the years, but I find it hard to fathom a moment where I am never playing computer games anymore. Heck, to be honest, I've wondered what it's going to be like once I end up in a retirement home, but I consider that question fairly pointless; looking at the current rate at which computer technology is developing, it's just about impossible to say where we are standing in about 40 years from now. Just 25 years back, games were no larger than 64 Kb. Current games are in 10's of Gb's, and the accompanying hardware has grown beyond anything that they held for possible back then  .

You are right there. That's another problem with H6. All this multi-cultural mombo-jumbo is a clear indication about how much we could expect from the one responsible with making H6. (You get rid of medieval stuff from one part of the world just to replace it with medieval stuff from another part... brilliant. If only Peter Jackson would have done the same with LotR...).
They failed to replicate success with H6 .Clash of heroes had it simple: elves, griffins, priests, daemons, wizards(h5) and necromancers. Heroes kingdoms had tons of resources (that's right I cannot remember how many, prob H3's 6+Gold) And they both had DRAGONS!
As for sim turns (that is almost certain they will not make them, because it is easier to make quick $$$ from a DLC) there are some H3 fans! that reverse engineered! sim-turns into the game. That should give you an idea on how hard it would be if you had the code available. But it will cost some money and...
...all this was made not to please the fans but exclusively for the money. And that is why I say we will get a DLC with only cosmetics and nothing more.

As a fan who hasn't been with the series for a while, I honestly like the new units, and believe them to be more creative/better than their predecessors. Elves, griffins, priests... That's all fine, but not original, not creative. Nothing wrong with innovation if it's done well, and I believe it certainly was. Breeders, Lamassu, the male Shamans, they all are awesome (imo). Not a huge fan of dragons, either, just too overdone in my eyes.

Have to agree there. I do believe that heroes works better with a retro atmosphere and classic medieval look but H6 was different in quite an appealing way. Matter of taste I suppose.

Very interestinq Q&A..
As I understand, the Dungeon lineup is something like this:
Core: Stalker, Minotaur, Evil Eye(as seen in compendium art)
Elite: Faceless, Shadow Sorceress(as seen in art on the portal, second elf creature), Manticore(?)
Champion: Black Dragon
My only concern is this new studio, very sceptical of them, no mention of puppetworks animation studio either...

Shadow Sorceress, I think that will become a hero class.
They'll be hard pressed to come up with 6 fitting names for the dungeon heroes, at least if they give half a damn.

Minotaurs are Elite.
Evil Eyes won't be called so because the name is copyrighted in the US.
So both Dark Elven units will be Core (like in Heroes 5) and work accordingly: imagine Stalker and a Ranged Blood Fury (strike-and-return was somewhat "ranged" as well - not the most harmless units.

They can call it Beholder, or whatever else...I have seen the art of it in Compendium, so its possible.
I still thin that one of the elves is going to be Elite, be it Shadow Sorceress/Matriarch like in H5 or maybe someone Male for a change
I wonder, how will animation of creatures made by this chinese studio compare to work done by Puppetworks?
Also, does anyone know when preorders will open?
