Santuray heroe vs Santuary heroe attacking on water
Today i was trying to attack another Santuary heroe on water but i was unable... it is a bug? He also tried to attack me back but nothing happens.... the sounds that i was attacking i could hear it but nothign happens...

lol how does that battlefield look like anyway? does it use the ship battlefield?

Yep.. done it a few times.. its a normal ship battle

You're running a horse over the sea, but if they attack you suddenly both heroes are over a ship.

YEs we both had army.... but i could hear the sound like when you will start the battle... the screen goes dark for a second and then it gets back to the map like nothing happened... and it didnt let me to attack... my friend tried in his turn to attack me and the same happened...

Sounds like a bug, try to load an older save (if you have it) and fight in land or somenthing...

On land worked good.. also vs boats also worked but santuary vs santuary going on water didnt work..

Second question, do you both have only-sanctuary units?
Finally is it a custom map? If the part of the map where you fight has not been combat-painted then you just can't fight there. Don't even ask.

yep we both just had santuary units... otherwise we wouldnt be able to walk on the water...
And it is not a custom map... is a map that comes with the game...
