This is huge work indeed and very nicely done. Bravo. There are a lot of display problems for now, but judging from what has already been done I'm sure they'll be fixed.

IMO, secondary skill boxes would be much better in H2 style like this:

(You can check out New Interface Mod: Rampart in Era mods thread to see how it's done.)

The third screen should definitely not happen unless you are using the HD mod. ( Just checked - the interface should be correct H2 style not H3 but also the name of the Archer shouldn't be changed to Crossbowmen ) You might be doing something wrong... :/

Playing broken alliance, brings back memories.

Was there a problem with towns icons in towns list? I have heroes heads instead of towns. Other that, looks perfect.

Nope, it is as in original Heroes 2, there was no town icons but main hero heads instead.

Ahh, that, I thought you ment in the Menu Screen. This is because the H2 town icons are much smaller, but maybe I could change them to this sort of style by making them by hand.

There are a few inconsistencies between main menu and in game abilities. Didn't test much, but playing with castle I get some descriptions as "paladin to ranger" which implies it can upgrade, but in fact is only att/def bonus. This is for a few castle heroes. Also Cherith specialty is wrong (paladin in main menu, champions bonus in  game)  

In Crag Hack specialty descriptions it is said he is armored hero and that he is not good at pathfinding. Then he comes with pathfinding and no armorer skill. Kinda confusing.

The Hero specialties are definitely one of our top priorities to focus on. Quite possibly they should be fixed or at least highly improved for the first patch. We wanted to release the mod now, rather than later, so people could help us informing about the bugs but possibly few to help and volunteer to join the team.

No problem, I am happy that you kept "wait" ability in battle, I know Kalu wanted it out and would have been disastrous.

All the other Era mods (except Wog of course) are off, I tried with and without HD mod, Wog Setting is the dat file in your download and all the display problems I linked are still there. Secondary Skills are displayed H3 style like this:

You must have things in a data folder overriding the mod. Possibly the main \Data folder or perhaps wog\data, but that would be the reason.

The Secondary skill icons are still to be done, but the 3rd screen you showed previously should not occur. Working as the only graphics is damn hard, as it is time consuming. It is just not possible for one person to complete all the graphics... they are secondary skill icons are not as important though as the other graphics ( for now ), but definitely in some patches they will be done.

I know, Kivo, amazing work. Just reporting and asking about what I see, last details will surely be polished in patches.

Kegolo, I see you use claimed z vars for specialties descriptions. Are you sure it does not conflict with any of wog options or the setting dat is obligatory to avoid conflicts?

Maybe setting all heroes specialties to one single z var and display with right click trigger would solve better?

Salamandre, can you also see the errors I linked or is it only me like Kivo says? I cant think of anything that will override SW. Besides what would override Crossbowmen as rossbowmn anyway?

Rossbowmn is an error, I remember that in h3 the name was too long, Crossman might be an option or switch names from Crossbowman to Marksman... How did you get the Archers being called Crossbowmen though and interface in castle to h3 style?

Maybe he is using the crtraits.txt you put in the mod?

You can solve it by splitting the name in two parts:

Not sure, much of the script (to be honest the tedious parts) was already done by Mister_Kalu, I just made it work better but did not rewrite anything. This is also a reason hero specialties are not 100% working. But all the text did not conflict with wog text during testing...which would mean nothing most likely.

If you notice anything I can switch a few z vars.

Help

How to install this mod?
I already installed newest era and follow the instruction(put the heroes 2 folder in the Mod folder) then I run heroes 3 but it's like regular wog nothing change
