I don't know much about Era and vcmi to be honest... I mainly do graphics and make some decisions. So I have no clue of having a vcmi version... As Kegolo is no longer working on the project, the door is open for everyone to help out. A programmer is needed for sure as I cannot fix bugs, errors and make changes in the programming side.

I am so glad that you guys keep on developing on the mod. It is already so great and awesome and I think it is possible for you to make it even better If you need a tester or someone to find bugs I would happily do this. I have no experience in making graphics or programming so the only way I can help is by feedback, but please contact me if I can be of any help

Don't know if I'm in the right place or if this is the correct way or so but I'll go for a bug report :

I just started playing this mod again and noticed some strange thing like : 3 Unicorns attacs 6 Master Genies, does 16 damage, and 3 Master Genies dies. Also, ressource silo for Gipsy faction doesn't seem to work.

Love this mod. Hope I am of some help by reporting this.

You have enabled or disabled mod something like "Genies act like in H2 and have a change to kill half enemy stack"?
If this is enabled, disable it, else enable (seems to some error in scripting half stack kill).

By the way, is someone started converting SW towns/units to VCMI?
It will be good indeed.
H2 Castle against H3 Castle etc...

Sometime ago I would do it myself, but now I will not have time and passion to do whole thing.

PS Can someone experienced say, in what way coordinates of town dwellings are stored in SW (ERA/WOG)? Can I convert it to normal coordinates?

So

means, that (x,y) for upgraded dwelling of archers is (160,150)?

So I haven't posted any screenshots in a while... there is still progress though.

I'm still doing graphics, mainly focusing on map objects, so the random map is not filled with any h3 objects.
I hope somebody ( a programmer ) could offer me some help, especially in two weeks as I will have more free time - due to many examinations which will then be over in school ( I'm only 15 ). I want this mod to be finished just like many other players do, but education is more important for me - of course. When Kegolo was around a lot was done, hopefully someone will pop up with similar abilities.

Enough of that, here are some screenshots.

Ballista added with animations (to be improved). No more trees on the sides of the battlefield so the Ballista doesn't sit on top of them.


Few examples of secondary skills (H2 style)




The Rakshasa is a simply a design which I made, which would replace the Hippogriff. This is as two birds in one castle (Wizard) seems a bit strange and I personally don't like it, as well as many others from which I heard of.

The order of the units would then change:
Mage 6 -> 4
Roc 5
Rakshasa 6

The idea is not final though, yet.

Now a question. What is this mod exactly?

I was under the impression that it is just that: H3 with H2-like graphics and sounds. Same creature stats / spells and mechanics though.

Can someone shed some light? Is there a description somewhere with its features?

As I understand, creatures stats are from H2. So it's harder to play in it, than in H3 - because creatures have much less hitpoints etc.
