Also, I think death knights should be tier 6 necromancer unit, with lichs being tier 5 and vampires tier 4. I do like the idea of him though.

We are not interested in exact copying of H3 lineup. Moreover, the concepts of H2 creatures just differ.

And Kivo already explained that H2 Vampire looks much more powerful that lvl 5 H2 Swordsman. He just cannot be the 4th - it'd be a conceptual mistake. Things like these must not be present.

This doesn't make much room for the death knight, seeing as he looks more powerful than the lvl 5 H2 swordsman as well. Therefore he can't be lvl 4.

If vampires are gonna be lvl 5, and lichs lvl 6, then the death knight won't fit in as lvl 4, seeing as he looks more powerful than the vampire. If he's not put in as a normal unit, he may have to be put in as the necro commander.

Then what would be the lvl 4? Ghosts? Or stay as ghouls?

Only castle I don't care about at all(yet)is the gypsy castle. I'd actually prefer ghosts being moved to necromancer, seeing as I like playing necromancer but I don't like gypsy. Mostly cause I don't like the H2 neutral units. Kobolds do need to be replaced/redrawn though, seeing as the recolored orc with wolf head is ugly.

As for the frogs in fortress, I think the upgraded one should have a range attack(maybe a spitting attack?).

All things you state have been already discussed a vast number of times. Don't worry.

Don't forget you play the really, really outdated version.

I have no doubt they have, seeing as I've read through this whole thread.

So far, my 3 favorite castles here are still warlock, witch and wizard...and its not cause they all start with W.

If crusaders are supposed to do more damage to ghosts, it hasn't been added yet. Mine only show as doing more damage to skeletons, zombies, owlbears(suspect mummies would replace that), ghouls, vampires, lichs, bone dragons and ghost dragons. No ghosts.

Also, I think death knights should be tier 6 necromancer unit, with lichs being tier 5 and vampires tier 4. I do like the idea of him though.

Edit: I just looked at my troops morale, and whats effecting it...+3 from expert leadership(expected)and...+1 from Brutes in group? I don't have any brutes with me, and neither does the enemy. I didn't even know brutes GAVE a morale bonus.

Crusaders don't deal bonus to damage to undead or owlbears, even though they should deal more damage to undead, but that is a bug.

The morale boost from brutes bug has already been fixed.

My crusaders dealt bonus damage to some(unupgraded)ghouls, so its atleast partially working.

Good to know the morale boost has been fixed, though how the bug happened when I only had paladins, griffins, archers and crusaders I don't know. Never even used a brute on that map.

Have you remembered to calculate the difference between attack and defense skill? Maybe your hero got offense, which increases the melee damage dealt. Anyway it unfortunately shouldn't work, but we would like it to.

My hero may have gotten offense, don't remember. It may not have actually done bonus damage, but it seemed to do bonus damage. Then again, I don't know what skills the enemy hero had.

Okay, then I am pretty sure it,  unfortunately, doesn't work. It also seemed weird that it worked in the early versions, but not the newest one

Would be nice if it did work, wonder what the problem is though. And how it can be fixed so it does work.

The players of Heroes of Might and Magic IV can for sure recognize this character:

"Gurvilin fought in the Succession Wars and was instrumental in gaining the freedom of his entire village. His career did not end there, however. Soon, Gurvilin set out into other lands, protecting halfling communities from the dangers of a big person's world."

We tried to imagine how would Gurvilin look like in the times of the Second War of the Enrothian Succession, when he was supposed to fight on the Roland's side.
As you may have already guessed, in The Succession Wars Mod campaigns and ordinary scenarios you will be able to meet Gurvilin once again!

The Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Succession Wars Mod project has already left some intimations about the wider concern of Might and Magic series lore than it was in the majority of other HMM3 modifications.

Today we proudly present the soul-eating, magnificent blend of sci-fi and fantasy aspects of Might and Magic, the one which was rejected by New World Computing not so far from the release - the Heavenly Forge!

In the next mod version you will be able to try the alpha version of this faction, and reveal even more secrets of Might and Magic.

Heavenly Forge cannot be included to Enroth continent storyline because of the lore-wise reasons anyway. Not even talking about the huge army of close-minded fantasy-oriented protesters who don't know what is Might and Magic RPG series. The Succession Wars Mod cannot have this faction on a regular basis.

However, I would strongly advise to keep track of our news in future.

I spent 8 hours clicking pixel by pixel not to simply leave this as an ordinary screenshot. It still needs polishing, though.
