Will Archibald and Roland campaigns be avaible in 0.8? I like H2 Art Style, but after playing too much H3 and H5, I can't find myself with H2 mechanics.

I will always love playing H2 even if H3 is my favorite. So SW mod is really the best thing I could ask for, from this point.

I share this, I favor H3 mechanics but in terms of atmosphere I consider H2 the best, so HIIISW is just the perfect thing for me as well.

The mod originally dates back to 2008, when Mister Kalu experimented with adding H2 sounds and creatures to H3.
Mister Kalu's expeiment with H2 sounds to H3 wog
The project then began converting the mod to H2 by having H2 heroes, creatures and overall H2 graphical design. This continued to around 2011 when Mister Kalu had begun adding "new" content in form of a 7th creature for the original 6 H2 classes, upgrades for all classic H2 creatures and a "Dessert class" containing H2 neutral units. A H2 like Fortress and Inferno was also plannede.

However Mister Kalu left the project around 2011-2012 which was then managed by Kivo and Kegolo. They aimed less for a recreation of H2 in the H3 engine (which Mister Kalu later explained was his goal), but more for a "best of H2 and H3" approach. Eventually a lot of the current team members (Orzie, Uhm, me and others) jumped on the wagon in 2013, when the latest public beta was released.

Since then we have worked very hard to give the mod a very big lift in quality. The upcoming v.0.8 beta is on a whole new level compared to the 2013 beta.

There was also SW Mod Alpha including some new or ripped from other games creatures, that weren't present in Beta (like Cat Archer)

But check out the old NWC heroes 5 concepts. Cat elf was one of many great new units. Lots of interesting stuff to look at. They're around here somewhere or you can google it.

There's no need to do that.
1) Russians have Christmas on January, 7th.
2) Christmass is a bit of other thing.
3) The actual release date is going to be announced later.

I don't actually think it can be called Christmas. American Christmas is close to Russian New Year in my book. And, Russian (orthodox) Christmas is quite a religious event, and isn't close as fun and magic as American Cristmas.

In Romania at least, some celebrate it by the Old Orthodox Rite (in Jan) but more people today do it the more secular way, like X-mas is in America, and moreso in American movies and pop culture (Dec 25). I got used to it. Same as having an Orthodox Easter to ourselves, and others follow the Catholic one.
Ok, anyway, when the new version is ready, I'll be ready
