Sweden's rape rate under the spotlight - BBC News
www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-19592372
Interesting article that might explain things. I seriously doubt that any swede could imagine Sweden as a country where rape is common and they would be more likely to believe that the statistics would be reversed. And it is silly to believe that masses of immigrants are running around at night raping women.

Yeah, it's just that Naomi Wolf did a bit of a research including talking to people who work in women shelters and calling gov' rape hot-line, so her information comes from people who deal with it on a daily basis and they claim police (not many women on the force) will dismiss rape most of the time and even blame the victim (chief of police was a rapist himself as well) on the other hand Ruth Alexander says its all peachy and supports it with nothing except for stories...
If a 14 yo girl gets raped by a 20 yo and he gets only 2 years, thats messed up, if an 11 yo girl gets gangraped by 20 immigrants and the gov decides its more important to protect their identity while not even convicting most of them, thats just messed up...

Child rape = 2-6 years... I would have them executed

I fully agree on that western society and especially Sweden is too soft on crime. While reforming criminals to function in society is nice and all, I believe that victims have a right to retribution. I too would enjoy executing some rapists and there should be zero tolerance towards physical crimes and. Public humiliation sound quite nice too so that the offenders are marked for life for the evil they have commited. For people like Breivik who are 100% known to be guilty and can not possibly redeem themselves, I would say that they should be sentenced to lifetime physical labour or even death maybe. Just today I read that Breivik was angry because he could not discuss his ideology with anyone in prison...
Do not misunderstand me though as a bloodlusting person. I do not like the thought of innocent people being wrongfully punished or laws that allows a corrupt system to do evil.

I still think reversible, chemical castrations are a better solution to the problem of rapists than longer prison sentences. If they misuse it, they lose it.

It should be noted that Sweden's conviction rate for rape is around 4 for 100,000, where as in Finland and Norway have around 2. LINK The reported rate of rapes per 100,000 is 15 for Finland and 20 for Norway in when comparing to the 65 in Sweden. LINK This means that while around 90% of those in Norway and 86% of those in Finland are false/inconclusive in Sweden 94% of the reported rape cases are useless.
Another interesting note is that in Sweden 1500 people are prosecuted for crimes per 100,000. In Finland this is 4000 per 100,000 and in Norway around 500. LINK So in fact Norway and Sweden reported rapes are pretty much in proportion to other crime in the country but they're both way above Finland. One can arque that Finland has a lot more crime otherwise but it does not change the fact that a Finn is more likely to get into a quarrel with his friend while drunk than rape someone.

the average swede will be more immoral in general

So if swedish politicians turn to be democrats the general population will magically shift to this immorality over night?

PS. If you see something like "only 3% of rapists are convicted" somewhere, you know that the person writing the text, keeping the speech, etc. either has no clue what they're talking about or is intentionally misleading. You can ignore them freely.
