Mass copy and paste? (H3)

According to this page:
http://www.allgame.com/game.php?id=23441
there is a way to mass copy and paste. But I can't figure out how to select multiple objects at the same time. Is it even possible or am I being trolled by a ten year old press release?

Mass copy/paste is available only in WoG add-on editor. Grayface courtesy.

Ok, I'm looking at the WoG editor right now. It looks identical to the vanilla editor. Is there a way to select multiple objects at the same time? How do I mass copy and paste?

Select obstacle tool, it will enable a new button near minimap, then follow instructions.

I don't see a new button. I'm using version 3.58f btw.

3.58 needs patching the editor, I have no idea where is the patch for.

Download latest wog version HERE, install it over H3 complete or SoD, it is already patched and ready to use.

Oh, but now I can't open the map in the vanilla editor anymore. It tells me the versions are incompatible and then it crashes. I have a backup of the map so it's not a problem. I'm just wondering if people will need WoG now to play the map. I think I'll try installing H3 twice so I'll have a vanilla version too.

You can't open or play WoG maps in SoD, they use different code. Never save a map you want for sod under wog editor. SoD does not have mass copy/paste.

Don't need, you have two editors in folder, one for vanilla, one for wog. Anything you save with vanilla editor will remain vanilla and can be played from Heroes3.exe.

Ok, well then I'm gonna change the size of the island instead of moving it around. WoG has too many gameplay changes for what I have in mind and I have two maps finished already. It would be silly to release a WoG campaign with most of the features turned off. Thanks for the help anyway!

Thanks for the tip. But by now I don't need to move the island anymore (I changed the size) and I've uninstalled WoG. Next time I need to move something around I'll try WoG again.

Btw I didn't uninstall WoG because I didn't like it. I uninstalled it because I'm working on a vanilla campaign so I need to see what the maps look like in vanilla (no moving trees etc)

Is it possible to have H3 installed twice and run one version without WoG?

This worked too, thanks. But the vanilla editor in Era doesn't show the moving trees, I think it was caused by the old installation of WoG (I installed Era over it) So I don't need to have H3 installed twice after all. Just using Era instead of old WoG and saving the map as SoD does the trick.

Thanks to everyone for the help.
