Fairy Dragon

Here is some more artwork I did for Homm4!

A small preserve force attacking a castle... not really good at all, I got lazy in the middle of it... perhaps I'll finish it some day.

The fairy dragon in all it's high-resolution 3d rendered glory!

I wish I could fix the feet of the fairy dragon, but it does not want to fix and my computer is too slow. I would also like to fix facial features, but it distorts them far too much when I try. Your comments and rude remarks are, as always, very welcome.

Good work...

The attack looks pretty nice - nice work with the spell. And the colours are very well balanced!
But the fairie dragon shot - what has the poor creature done to you? It looks like a chicken just popped out of its egg and has grown a lizard tail, a Schwartznegger torso and the wings of a fly. Very amusing - you saved my day; it will be spend with a smile on my face...

It's good work overall, however, I'm not sure that the Faerie Dragons are that noticeably female.

Anyways, I always ask this question when you post artwork: What program do you use?

Oopsie.. thank you for the comments. Anyway I use Adobe Photoshop for texturing the creatures and doing the spell effects and touchups. I use 3d studio max for the main stuff (modelling the creatures and objects)

I will attempt to do something better next time... I'm still getting acquainted w/ MAX and that is why the fairy dragon looks like some acid dream

Thanks for the program info. I'm going to have to try some of those. In the rare instances that I have to edit something, I use Paint(yes, I'm in the Stone Ages). However, some of the things come out okay. For something like creating new creatures, though, like you did, Paint would never suffice.
