Looking back at this thread I see how much I've matured over the course of these one hundred pages. Frankly, I think of myself as an idiot when I read the earliest posts (and the thread title), but I remember that I was only 14, and man was I ignorant back then! Lots of laughs and good replies here, though  I never realized how much you've all helped me become the person I am today. I've been through thick and thin with you, yet I only figured this out now.
Taking some time to think about what's happening in my life, I've come to a conclusion that I'm in a really tough position right now.
It's only October, but the school's already pressing me hard; my apartment needs a lot of work on it; and lastly, but I guess not the least important, is my (ex) crush.
But then again, I don't think 'crush' is a suitable word anymore. I believe this goes far beyond that phase.
She keeps coming into my dreams - constantly. Even though I know the chances of us being together in our lifetime is roughly equal to zero, I just can't forget her. No matter what I do, or where I am, she just forces her way inside my thoughts and won't leave. This has gone as far as that I can't concentrate in school, or at home, or when I go outside. There just isn't a way I can keep her off my mind.
People in my class have noticed that I'm absent-minded. They asked if anything's wrong, but I can never tell them what's actually going on. Dunno why, I just can't.
I curse the day we met. I curse the day I noticed her. I curse the day I was lost in her eyes; the day when I first looked past our quarrel, our squabble that has made us hate eachother.
How I wish I never got to know her! But that would be the easy way... And life - it's anything but easy.

Don't obsess over her. I realize it's easier said than done, but you should try doing some other things instead. Focus on a hobby, or friends, or even homework.

Quite a number of gay people too.
The social construction that creates far more suffering for me is this unrestrained kind of... relentless feminism. This is because this way it's me that ends up making sammiches while at the same time explaining to the lady that when the mate said "Hey, there's <Baklava>'s chick!", he didn't mean to identify her solely by her relationship with me and therefore maliciously undermine her integrity as an individual in front of her friends, and that of course you have all those other qualities that are not tied solely to this great thing we have between us, honey, now will you for the love of God almighty just let it go and I promise I will not make another joke about female drivers until another one runs me over.
