Even though it was tempting to stay inside the mine and find the password for the orbs, Arian wouldn't risk getting hurt again or let anything happen to Celestine now.

If so, we could and would appreciate you assistance... our own clerics are already taxed as is." And more unpleasant surprises likely awaited them deeper within this cave. Oh joy, oh rapture.

“Um , well…” Celestine wondered for a bit, “Intentionally or not, I thank you guys for saving me. And yes I am a cleric and I am very willing to help. My name is Celestine by the way, Celestine Flomaigne.”
She nodded and smiled at Arian in approval of his request then said, “I’m going to find my equipment first.”
Celestine left the two and searched for her equipment. She remembered she saw them near the cell. Once found she put them on.

Jeddite muttered, making some hand gestures from his order* that basically laughed at how effective the gutting would be if Arian tried to follow through on his threat, and said something that in the right context might make it seem like Arian's mother had once done something rather lewd, behind his back. He looked back at Rose and a concerned expression passed over his face. Her arm... hopefully their new companion could do something to assist her. He followed after Celestine, both to keep her safe and to ask, "Do you have any healing magics available today? One of our other clerics is in bad shape and could use your assistance."
((*In other words, the only people that might recognize this would be the clerics and Dorn, since it is a secret, religion-based language))

Satin's normal gruff voice is soft this time "She can take any ill into her, even death. She suffers as the person would have suffered, for a time...and then she is better. Think of it as a very odd Paladin's lay on hands..only much more powerful and with a nasty side effect. At present count she has died three times. She comes back, but it is not a pleasant experience."

Still holding the robed man down with his maul Dorn looked up at Celestine and flashed a bearded smile.
"A priest of Mishakal? We be in great luck! My name is Dorn Tumblestone, paladin of Shinare. Glad to meet ye, lass. Now then," his smile faded and he turned Satin "ye seem to know a lot about this Jakel fella. What should we do with 'is follower 'ere?"

Satin shrugs. "He is fanatical, all of the followers are. If we leave him behind us, he will just stab us in the back."
As for Austin, all you end up doing is damaging the tool you are trying to use..but you do reveal something interesting. Under a thin layer of normal looking brick..is silver. Silver that looks like the refined form of what was in the chamber with the 'poppers'. And runes carved into the silver.

Arian quickly ran over to the weird fanatic. The thief winked at the group, then he turned to the man and whispered to him: "Listen, I want to be a follower of Jakel. I'm just gaining the trust of these puny imbeciles so that I can lure them to be sacraficed in the name of the great One. Follow my lead and I'll get you out of here..."

Dorn's maul was already half way down when Arian ran over to the downed fanatic. Unable to stop the momentum, Dorn hit the unlucky thief instead, adding to his previous injuries. He collapsed on top of the fanatic like a sack of potatoes. "Ummm.... Ooops?"

Jeddite saw the thief standing beside the downed cultist and decided to save the poor fanatic from having to listen to a foolish plan. A stone flew past Arian's leg and slammed into the mage's skull as Jeddite began recovering his ammunition. Anticipating the theif's objection, Jeddite drolled, "Did you honestly think that he would believe you? Fanaticism does not make a person stupid every time..." Especially since this man appeared to have been a mage. Ignorant? Perhaps, but stupidity and innocence were not hallmarks of masters of the arcane arts. The monk cleaned the blood off of his bullet that he recovered from his first kill (the mage farther down the hallway), warding the new cleric as he kept his eyes pealed for any new enemies. "Can Rose be moved?" He asked the more experienced adventurers.

Arian started to search the dead body for anything of value. He has found a scroll of some sort, possibly a magical one, but Arian couldn't know that for sure - he isn't a mage.
After he searched the man, Arian got up and walked over to Jet. "Should we continue to search for this password? I really wanna see the treasure..."

"I was hired to protect the miners..." Jeddite mumbled walking back to the main group to retrieve the other bullets for his sling. "So making this mine safe is my primary goal. Treasure... not really on my goals list." He searched the monks for one of their holy symbols. Perhaps it could come in handy later on? Who knew. "Thank you for deciding to join us, by the way." The elven monk said with a bow.

Arian turned around without waiting for Jet to answer. "Oh, no, no. Most of us came here to save ourselves from the undead that attacked the mine. I was too late to get inside because the entrance was blocked to prevent the dead Karag from coming in, so I was stuck outside before some clerics arrived and cleared the way using magic. That's when we", Arian pointed at himself, then at Jeditte, "came here. We've found a room with some floating orbs guarding a treasure of some sort, and they've given us some clues on the password's whereabouts. When we find the password, we'll get the treasure and become rich! Anyway, I've started searching around and that's when this weird little bunch showed up. Weird, huh?"
