Celestine got up slowly, holding her head, trying to relieve the pain. She could barely hear the conversation and wondered what it meant. It took her minutes to survey the room and yet it was until she saw her equipment beyond the cell bars that she realized she was inside a prison. It was also the same time that the conversation she heard a while ago made sense to her.
She rushed towards the cell bar and tried to shake them.

Jeddite nodded to the manager. "I will protect them, sir." The monk agreed. If it was an order or request, then... "You and the messenger should likely make your way back the way we came. It should still be clear of obstructions and these... un-dead things. When we are done here, should I meet you back at the tavern?"

The elf had to hold back his face palm, and found he actually lacked the discipline to do so. Though he was able to hold back the groan. "I'll travel with you, but only to unlock this resource for others. Now, spirits?" Jeddite inquired, looking at them. "If you wish to be freed, then would you be willing to give us a hint as to the location of the password, if you know where or what it is?"

Austin soon returns from his little exploration trip with a small map of his progress. He didn't go too far in, due to the fact that he didn't want to miss out on what the others would decide to do.

((Sorry brain decided to have a short, so couldn't come up with an update till now))
The creatures seem to confer with themselves. "We believe the password is in the central chamber, left from the first four way passage, then right, left, right. When you find it, you will realize it has been under your nose the whole time."
As for the mapping..
Right after the turn off, there is a straight corridor with two doors on each side..and about 100' foot up there is a four way passage.
The manager nods. "Yes, I will have to pull up stakes here, too dangerous. Should this mine be cleared out, come to tell me at Mama's if I am not there, she will know how to find me."

Jeddite watched the rogue start to walk of and looked at his other companions. While it was tempting to move off with him, Jeddite was still under the command of Rose, and she was now his only true ward since he was merely an assistant and companion to the other adventurers and the manager had released him from his prior responsibility. So Jeddite, aka mr. monk, would stay beside Rose as a glorified meat shield. "What do you suggest we do, my lady?" He enquired. "There are likely more of the creatures farther in, which we may wish to deal with before retrieving the password."

Rose nods. "We will find the password eventually. I doubt that we have seen the last of the creatures in this mine. Before we go running off to find this password, and who knows what in the way..I say we proceed with caution. However, since the other person has went off, we do need to catch up. Jet and he should lead the way, I know Jet has a talent for finding traps..and I suspect there maybe a few. If anybody is injured, please let me know. I am not the best healer, but I know a few thins about healing."
The others agree to this. Jet goes out in front, followed by "G". The archer, Silk, and "J" would like to be in the back.
((I need to know where everybody else is in the mix up. Satin would be near the front, Rose near the middle..have to protect the healer.))

Dorn moved to Jeddite. He looked at the monk with deep respect for his negotiating abilities.
"That be a mighty display of negotiating you did there, lad. Shinare be praised fer sending you to us. So, ye coming to claim ye prize?"
The answer to his question was Rose's response to Jeddite. Dorn frowned, but seeing everyone's agreement he gave in.
"Fine. Kill monsters first, collect prize later. I be taking the front right behind the trap finders. If there be contraptions they probably be of Dwarven creation."

Jeddite had raised his eyebrow at the dwarf's question. The Paladin did recognize that, as a newer member of the order, Jeddite was not allowed to have any real personal wealth. Part of his initiation oaths, most likely to keep him from wenching and drinking like so many other adventurers seemed to do. Morals were not always so present in travelers, after all, but being poor made being naughty just a bit harder. So monks had to "Prove their control" by being poor. Rather a bother.
Jeddite wordlessly took his place beside Rose, sling out once again. With this group of theirs, he should be able to fire at anything coming at them from in front or behind.

As you run to catch up with Arian, Arian spots a trap at the crossroads. Since progressing means he has to remove the trap, he is stopped. Which means he gets to hear the sound of feet coming from the RIGHT. Lots of them, with some low chanting. "Deno I' mori. Auta I' ten Yevari!" ((Roughly))

As Austin spots Arian doing something up ahead, he is suddenly glad he didn't go too far into the passageways. He would have very likely set off whatever Arian looks to be disarming.

Outside the Cell
Eight figures approach. One of them starts mumbling something, and Celestine suddenly gets very drowsy. Though she knows she should stay awake, she can not. As the world goes dark, she is hoisted above the figures. She sees they are starting to return they way they came, chanting .. something. Then..all is blackness.
In the hallway
The chanting had been moving away, but now it is getting closer. People further back in the group can now hear the chanting. Jet gets close to the side wall, and seems to fade into the background. Your group can see him (since you can't hide in shadows from people who see you), but realize he is laying in wait to ambush. He doesn't know about the trap yet...

The chanting stops cold. Sounds of rustling are heard. "Intruders in the hall!* The sounds of some chanting is heard, the click of a trap being deactivated shortly follows. Four figures come to the middle of the passage, four more are back in the hall. All are wearing some sort of robe, but the four have shorter robes. The monk of the group recognizes their combat stance. They must be monks of some kind, which means they will have improved unarmed strike. This could get nasty, worse the one who seems to be able to cast is blocked by the four in the passage.

Jeddite shook his head. "The ones in front are monks. They have chosen their side and declared their loyalties, either kill them or let them kill you." He told the Paladin, flinging a stone from his sling at one of the central monks bodies. He didn't dare aim at a smaller target on the martial artist, since that could be moved out of the way far easier than their body.

Arian unsheated his sword and took a battle stance.
"I have no intention to hurt you, boys, but if that's what you want... Hey, got any available girls at your side? No? Oh, well, guess I'll have to keep lookin'. Men are the ultimate hunters for women, right? Y'know what I'm saying?"
...
"Eh, nothing? I bet that guy in the middle never got laid, hehe."

A missle goes whizzing just inches from Dorn's ear. It strikes one of the monks. That was a tad close for comfort. Amy moves to behind Dorn, ready to heal, but she does start chanting. "J" Starts chanting.
Jet comes out from the shadows, striking one of the monks and that monk goes down quick. (Thief, striking from shadows, that HAS to hurt).
One of the monks connects to Arian with his first strike, but misses with his second. That HURT. ((You are unsure if you can take a second hit).
Dorn is just as lucky. He gets hit once his armor absorbs some of the impact, so he is not quite as bad off as Arian.
'G' gets hit twice, and doesn't look so good. He cleaves one in two with his sword, then seems to just crumple for some unknown reason. He is DOWN.

"SWEET MOTHER OF MY LEFT RIGHT FOOT'S PIGGY, THAT HUUUURTS!!!", Arian cried out loud. "C'mere you little snower!"
The thief intended to slash and create a large wound on the monk's torso with his shortsword, but he only managed to make a little cut on the left thigh for he made a clumsy move. However, Arian's dagger found it's way between the monk's ribs, maybe an inch below the heart. Then, Arian took the dagger out and moved back to find Rose and ask for healing.
