I have downloaded this town for VCMI just yesterday and played it half of night
It's a very good town.
Just one moment needs correction, I think. It's strange, that leprechauns are upgraded to Hobbits. It's like human upgrades to orc
May be it's better to exlude leprechauns from town, and replace them with standart 3DO neutral Hobbits. So it will be upgrade from Hobbits to Hobbits With Cloak.

When to expect next new towns for VCMI?
And how much time took you to convert town to VCMI mod system?

I used halflings in this town at the beginning,but I think this mod is a separate part,so I replace halflings to leprechauns.

I spent a month's time to finish the Era version,but change it to VCMI only took me one week.

Would you mind reupoading the preserve town, pls.
I can't download it.(when the download starts it has 0 kb/s speed and does not accelerate)

How's work going on next town?
It will be cool even without heroes or monsters anyway (it's easy to take units from other addons etc)

VCMI mod requires no scripting, only configuration files must be written without errors.

Script definition (computer): A simple program in a utility language or an application's proprietary language.

I guess then wog scripts are also configuration files, as they do same thing. What you show me is a script.

It's NOT a script. Because it's not a program.

"JSON , or JavaScript Object Notation, is a text-based open standard designed for human-readable data interchange."
This format is for data exchange, not for programming computers etc.

What I see is very basic readable data, as configuring creatures, which can be also done in wog with even less lines. Let's see if it still keeps such readable when it starts to go into serious things, as scripting battles, stacks and map adventure actions.

I am not naive to think customizing the game in VCMI will be just a matter of copy/paste readable data.

This is not a script and it is not a program, as it's not written in computer language in Turing sense. It can not peform arbitrary actions, only these expected by config format.

Sure, you can write the same text just in ONE line of file. But this is not an advantage of any kind
