Share your best vs AI

Hi.

I'm just curious how everyone, or anyone makes one's battle against AI more amusing. Clearly a map with fair and equal starting positions is more unpredictable and fun against a human player, but I'm sure we've all played a lot of singles and rdms against AI and had fun.

So please write (as much as you like) about how you make things more interesting against the good old computer. Example - how many AIs on what map size or which RMG templates make things less predictable ect. Or tell about unusual situations you've gotten yourself into (or out of) against the comp.

Thanks

Yes, that is what I meant, I also like the comp to have the advantage over the resources, but it's sometimes hard to avoid his strongest hero for the firs two weeks or so. And I have no money so I have to get creatures to join or something to build an army.

and thanks for replying

Thanks for the vids Richard. Supreme tactics, I think i liked the behemoth fight the most since it's on cursed ground therefore with almost no spells.  But all of them are impressive.

Which map is that, if I may ask?

I really appreciate that you like it! It's in the map "Wayfarer(E)" if you see the details below in each website of my Youtube videos.

I expect to finish this map before 199 days! Can you believe?

Whith this tactics, yes, I belive you just might do it.
Although I can't say I've played the map, I've opened it up in editor and it seems like one of those insanely edited maps (which are lots of fun imo) like "Sander's" or "To Kill for Power". I'll surely try it out when I get the chance.

ps - very amusing hero-army dialogues, that "eat my stone, crocodile" part really made me laugh

Haha, now I am making the new video of another trick, I will post it soon! It's really a tough fight (Yog vs Neela, who is armorer specialty with more than 70 Titans, 200 Master Genies, 270 Arch Magis and 500 Obsitian Gargoyles). Even though I have the Sharpshooter's Bow, it still needs skillful tactics. Moreover, Neela has a very high A/D/P/K (Average 35) and 820 mana, but Yog only has average 25 A/D/P/K and 866 mana.

I am looking forward to your suggestion^^

I can hardly give you suggestions on tactits or anything else for that matter.
But I presume you'll try to block them whith flies/force field/obstacles for starters, slow - surely, blind - maybe .. and some magical damage would be nice considering that insane armorer bonus ... and you'll probably avoid snow ...  but that's all basic knowledge  - I told you I had nothing   (who knows, maybe ou use a new spell this time - disrupting ray?)

I thin mages are no problem for you but I'm sure curious about those 70 titans immune to blind ... maybe block whith fodders and ressurect them ... I have no idea, but can't wait to see the video (whith dialogue, off course )

ps - have you played "to kill for power" and, if you did, how did you like it?

This fight I have a stronger team than before, with 55 Ancient Behemoth, 110 Thunder Birds and 143 Cyclop Kings, but the most contributions come from the other 4 groups - 1 Arch Magi, 2 Titans, 10 Master Genies and 1 Silver Pegasus.

I carried the Sharpshooter's Bow, Tomb of Earth Magic and Badge of Courage in this battle.

With this team, I really need to try something new. Block tricks won't work on such a team with extremely strong ranged groups (71 TT + 213 Arch Magi + 32 Master Gremlin) and flying groups (251 Master Genies + 615 Obsidians). Also, I forgot to mention that, Neela has 154 Naga Queen and 383 Iron Golem in her team as well!

Maybe I can upload this new video after 3 hours, because it needs time to make it in 1080P and upload to Youtube. Haha^^

PS: I haven't played "to kill for power", but I will try when finish the "Wayfarer(E)". Thanks for the recommendation! I believe I will like it!

Ha! And there I was, thinking you still roll with horde of C.Kings and some flies  . I think Neela won't be much of a problem for you then.

No need to hurry with that video... take your time.

Haha, no Flies in this battle because they are too weak, they are with Ciele now. Neela has 820 MP here, and she has lots of powerful spells - Implosion, Chain Lightening (Multiple damage), Meteor Shower (Area damage), Pray (WTF!), Clone (If she clone TT...), Resurrection and the most snowing one - Expert Water Dispel! I hope I can learn Expert Eagle Eye!

It's a tough fight if you see this video. A 22 minutes fight and a totally different Trick! Hope you enjoy it!

Hello again, Richard. Sorry I couldn't check out th video earlier, I've been busy.

Now I checke out the fight vs Neela and I gotta say my hat is of to you, sir. Great fight. I never would have thought it out that way.
I do know all the tricks (spell cost reduction/addition, catapult destruction, gate blocking and so on), they are all basics imo, but to combine them all and with such great measure, now that is another matter. (and all you lost were some spell points - haha)

I would have never gone in such a battle because of the obvious advantage in numbers, plus I don't yet feel so confident exploiting the AI's predictable behavior (for example - I surely could not keep those flyers inside the walls for so long, and the spell points calculation, that is also out of my league for now). And I probably would have needed a much bigger army to fight this.

Nice job. I'm looking forward to the next vid ...

ps - a question - do you play online or wcl? (how good are you vs human opponents?)

Hello, Janko. Thanks for your appreciation of my videos. I have upload all of them in this link (http://heroescommunity.com/viewthread.php3?TID=39793) and I will keep uploading.

I haven't played pvp online for 9 years, so I am not such skillful while vs human. I have just played all the official maps (all 200% difficulties) and compaigns (all 200% difficulties if allowed). Some good maps I still have nice records which helps me to develop my tactics when vs AI. I believe you've played some of them before^^.

Recommendation:
The Lord of War (My record: 41 days (with the Cloak of UD King); 87 days (without the Cloak of UD King))
Matataxers Revenge (My record: 188 days)
Jedi Story (My record: 196 days)
Xiedu (A very good Chinese map! My record: 119 days)
(Last fight: 9999 Fairie Dragon + 9999 Azure Dragon + 9999 Fairie Dragon + 9999 Crystal Dragon + 9999 Fairie Dragon + 9999 Rust Dragon + 9999 Fairie Dragon with no Orb of Vulnerability!)
Unleashing the Bloodthirsty (My record: 143 days)
(Last fight: 9999 Azure Dragon + 9999 Crystal Dragon + 9999 Rust Dragon + 9999 Fairie Dragon + 9999 Rust Dragon + 9999 Crystal Dragon + 9999 Azure Dragon)
Apocalypse (My record: 111 days)

I will share some classic tactics of these good maps later^^

That's right! It's the map "Wayfarer(E)". I believe you played it before. It's an excellent map, isn't it?

I have tried WOG several month before, and finished Wayfarer(E) with only 1 command (Level 71 Ogre Leader), Haha! It's a bit not balance for these AI battle, but I know it's interesting to play pvp game.

Thanks for your appreciation^^!
