Looks quite good, to be honest.

Can't wait to a full explanation of skill system.

(Maybe the menus could be better...oh wait, just read on the FB:

I must say, this actually looks good.
To much on the reused graphics and the interface looks to much H6 like (In the bad way) but this is supposed to be changed.

And it does look like an openworld game.. love this fact. I hope the regions will be nice and big..

That doesn't look so bad after all, actually.
Despite being work-in-progress.

Maybe we can actually have a worthy successor of the original Might and Magic.

Probably late about this, but note how the elf and the mage are the same characters as the concept (or not) art released earlier.

Please, make the faces change when characters are affected by status effects.
I don't care if they are badly implemented photoshop jobs, this is a dealbreaker!

So people keep saying this is looking to be a lot like Grimrock,
but Grimrock wasn't exactly "open" was it?

What I'm asking is: Is Might & Magic Legacy X Legacy going to be a dungeon crawler,
a linear game with a few sidequest to temporary let you stray off the given path?

I hope is not very linear, I really want to have some freedom when playing the game.

The question is, is there a difference between "will be able to finish" and "is going to be 100% done".

You know MaM 6 could be done in less then 25h, but you could spend thousends in it. I do not think this would be the case but a Hope for a game time of 50h+

Good luck to finish MM6, well even MM8, in less then 25h without exploits and shortcuts. I think you need more then 100h for both MM6 and MM7 to finish them in normal way. MM8 has smaller world and is even shorter thanks to dragons but nevertheless it still need more then 25 hours to complete.

Clash of Heroes can be finished under 25h and I think you know how short this game is (if you don't waste your time to level your heroes and units to max levels).

you can finish MaM VI in two days if you know what you are doing, No expoloits like item farming on a dragon or NWC dungeon. Most of the story quests can be done with almost no fighting. The only dificult ones are Hive and Pyramide All 4 crystal castels can be done with almost no fighting with a speed run.
Using spells like Town portal or teleprts is a different thing. These are just tools available to everybody.
MaM VIII is a bit more linear.

I said no shurtcuts. To know what to do, you first have to play the game as it was planned by its creators and I am sure, it won't take you 2 days to finish it on the first try... not even 25h or 40h but many, many more.
25h stated by Erwan is probably the time for your first run on MMX - as many game producers indicate such times for their games. 25h - for first try/custom gamer, not for RPG game veteran.

Since it's going to be a rather small game (25 hrs), I hope Ubisoft don't overpriced it!

Might and Magic X Legacy is set for release in September as a downloadable title on Windows PC.

When I first played MaM VI I did not play it directly to get to the goal, I explored the world. I killed dragons like crazy for days, my goal was not the games end but I made goals of my own.
This has nothing to do with "Game time" but the world and its feeling. MaM X might be short in gameplay, but I belive many people would not mind if the game had many places to explore and hiden corners.

So yea sure, you can say the game most likely is short, and probably not as rich in enviroments, since it takes place only around one city as far as we know, and not on entire continents, but that does not mean it can't be rich or adictive. It Most likely won't be as much as VI or VII or older games, but I have my hopes.

World aside, I would love to know more about the game mechanics.
