Homm 3 All new Hero Portraits Updated
Updated: April 30, 2013 - New Homm 3 hero portraits

New portraits to replace original H3 portraits. It's an easy to install .exe for Era 2.43 mod manager. Just select your heroes 3 folder during install and enable in mod manager after.

Thanks. Maybe Artu could pack them as Era mod, will be much more easy to use than spoiling the data folder.

You welcome. Unfortunately, the Phoenix portrait files aren't named like the first pack. They are not named HPL020rn HPS085ov etc etc. They are rather a collection of pictures for you to choose from and rename according to your own taste. So, not repackable as an Era mod.

Thanks for the repack.. The Phoenix mod ones are alot of the same ones + quite a few extra's especially setup for the way phoenix mod let's you choose your portrait for each hero in the game. They were just meant to be put in your p directory. I haven't touched them yet from last year when I made them for that mod so that pack is still the same for now.

I know, they are done for that on purpose, as the player has the possibility to change portrait in game, thus they are named 1-2-3[...]100, when player clicks on dialog item #, the portrait # is set in real time.

I updated the file link again. I found some bad portraits again with pixel issues. I thought for sure I ran this automatic conversion process that fixes all them on all the portraits but I guess I didn't catch them all.
I verified every portrait inside the game now so they definately all should be looking good and changed a few portraits to better ones and redid some of the smaller portraits to see more of the character.
Artu:If you could repack it again for Era and edit your link this should be the last update hopefully. I packed it kind of like you had it but still a .rar file.

Sure, when I switch to Windows I'll do it, updating 150 iPad apps under OS X right now

Updated the portraits and made it an .exe installer. Select link in first post. Any other links are old versions.
