Kind of both,actually.
The changes are huge,"an update" is not sufficient to describe them.
But yes,the story and strategy remains the same.

ok, done.

1) AI zero growth, movement x 2, our growth x 2, player starts with 100 of each resource, 40000 gold.
2) AI zero growth, movement x 2
3) AI zero growth
4) AI growth 15%
5) AI growth 15% +1 speed/month
6) AI growth 15% +1 speed, 50% +2 speed after 12th month

ok, I have no space in dialog to add growth 25% so here are real settings:

1) AI zero growth, movement x 2, our growth x 2, player starts with 100 of each resource, 40000 gold.
2) AI zero growth, movement x 2
3) AI zero growth
4) AI growth 15%,
5) AI growth 15% +1 speed/month, 25% + 1 speed from month 5.
6) AI growth 15% +1 speed, 25% + 1 speed from month 5, 50% +2 speed from 12th month

Download replaced at same link, new graphics so need all.



Ah, forgot also: Xeron has no more tactics now, and some fixes for z vars when we visit barons lair, there was a glitch changing haste spell name to "damage". Fixed.

I don't really want to dig into codes to change the speed and growth ratio, this may lead to new problems and needs again full test. Speed remains as it is for level 5-6. Except that 5 does not have the 50% + 2 speed ridiculous boost which means game over if you hang too much. Speed bonus starts month 3 anyway.

Looks like infos about upgrades in erm help were wrong, one of codes proposed is upgrading endlessly. Fixed and can fix in a save if any.

So can you change the Difficulty in game or one it is set at the begin it's all done?

That reminded me a bit, why are most of your maps (TEW, alexander,..) all about Castle and Inferno factions Sal? (Though I guess with Abilities upgrading faction doesn't factor much).

Well, you can change it if you know how, but you need to go in erm file and set v2075 to 5-10 (easy-hard).

Most maps are about castle simply because archangels&and their clones ability. As the purpose of a single map is to resurrect all in every battle, try do that with dungeon, conflux, rampart, or resurrect manually 1000 behemots.

Yeah, kinda expect the Angel's Resurrection + Clone answer far away, but can't you give this ability to other creatures? Hard coded? Don't think that is the case because in some mods Commanders can also cast Resurrection.

But yeah aside from the look it doesn't matter, I mean an Archangel with Magic Immunity and Breath Attack it is not different much from a dragon anyway.

So this is the first time I have use Alchemist to reach its full potential and then... boom: "10 heroes as manpower are already sufficient, I have no supplies for more". So much for my dream of matching MoW in Mithril level of production. But oh well, 111 Mithrils per day + Arena (about 50-60 Mithrils per day) will do. Though what am I gonna do with the remaining Heroes ?

I can afford a 10th hero in alchemist very late, I need 5 heroes to hold cornucopias, 1 for statue, I use often 5 for battles, 1 for collecting imps, so by the time I free the 10th for alchemist the game is almost won. Now with difficulty levels, we can play longer, but CB's mithril feature still remains, from 12th month, they will give -1 mithril every month and 24th you will get again only 1. It is risky to play maps after 12th month if AI can move, bugs.

so with these difficulty changes I understand that hardest possible is how map is currently? and there are 4 more easier options inflicting no growth , more movement and such?
