basically it depends on your general pace and faction, also on the difficulty chosen and your general experience on dealing with these kind of maps.

I finished the map as Master of Wealth once, around month 12 with a huge army, something like the one posted by master, and twice as master of speed.

Now what I do as MoS

-Move fast, invest constantly in movement points at royal stables
- use secondary heroes for bank clears or some neutral legions clear-ups
-populate mines with guarding Arch Devils because gold is scarce for MoS in the begining
- clear banks, all, before every reset, and utopias, also go for max number of fights (fights won mean more special level ups)
- mithril goes into devils (take atack and return , immunity 3 and fire immunity asap, also reduce defense, convert first 6 towns asap,  when devils require protection take efreets with ya having resurrect and additional casts. Genies can be very handy , especially in the first fights.
once I have these abilities I start investing in damage for Arch Devils, as much as possible as fast as possible. my aim is to have devils on 120 dmg by the time I reach Zydar, otherwise he is trouble.
clear cave of gods , always and aim for water bonus asap. once you have water bonus MoS will shine on linking many bank clears in same day, which will lead to 1500+ mithril taken in that day. My personal best is up to 77mithril (71 banks in 1 day) in month 6 , I am sure it can be better.
-once you get more than 7k demons and devils are close to dmg cap I start investing in demons dmg.They will be weak 1st as they will require additional abilities, like Haste enchant, double dmg , fear etc..(Fear can be usefull early on on Devils) also some speed but they will be decoy and will eat some dmg out of Arch devils , make sure you have enough mana to get em up. by the time you pass 15 k demons and 50 dmg they will become a force , by the end of the map they will be unstoppable
-there are side quests during your progress who can provide a hefty amount of mithril (Serena death, Angel Gabriel quest or answering the sphinx questions), you might wanna check for those

Imo, this map is about controlling its 1st half. Once you beat Aine you're powerful enough not to worry to much, but this is like 60% to completion. I won fights also by playing Chinese style (reload if not morale in 1st round) (I speak for Zydar here, Serena or Risa) Also I speak as someone who finished this 3 times, so I know it's secrets (even tough I discovered some new details in my last play ), I will let you discover the strategies. It's well worth it.

But you are right its better to learn from misstakes.

When I use to play this map 2-3 years ago I beat Wystan and somewhere around there I put the game on hold!!

But my gaming shoes are on now, and am determined to beat this beautiful map

At what point in game can I turn imps into demons? and how?

Last time I played this map I beat Wystan and still hadn't turned imps into demons!! not sure if its a option that comes up later in game!!

btw, I know I have to turn up imps HP for better ratio..

When your imps have 16 health and in the meantime your have air bonus,every imp becomes a demon.(the rings of vitality and health play a role in that)

Hey guys! Congrats on the maker first of all for this awesome map, probably best design I ve ever seen in a map, along with scenario, scripts etc. I am on my first playthrough, playing as MoD. I am stuck right now at end of 5th month, after defeating rashka, where should I head to next? Basically I m pretty sure I have to kill Arlach, thats what the quest guard next to rashka castle tells me,but although I can see where arlach is on the map (many arena area) there is no way to approach him! I m getting crazy, a lil help out here!

There is a quest guard,asking for Rashka dead.
Just see from the quest guards menu where is it's location.
The next hero you are about to fight is Zydar.

Actually,it's not imperative to fight him,you just need the blue tent.After the blue tent you go to Piquedram.

Duh, thanks! I felt kinda stupid, I just didnt notice there was a quest guard there, there was still fog! Still, had to waterwalk to it! On to Zydar then!

p.s. I started a new game while waiting for a reply here as MoW! Dat income... I just rally every city on my way, just beat ajit and I have too many resources and cash already! At the end I ll probably have a crazy army, double what I estimate to have as MoD!

I found out that by giving the Familiars 22hp and have Ring of Vitality & Ring of Life equipped I don't even have to train my Familiars to rank 1 for a perfect 1 to 1 ratio..

Tried alot of combos, 20hp I have to train them to rank 2 for 1/1
21hp rank 1 for 1/1..but am sure y'all pobably know all this

Just had to blow a good hour + on this, instead of advancing the game,
but I sure am glad to have found it out right in the get go
could have wasted alot of gold on this!!

I think this is very important, and am not sure if there is any info about it somewhere, all I remember reading in the help section is to set the HP on Familiars on 16!! BAH have to rank'em up to ACE level if HP is on 16.

Sometimes it pays of to be a perfectionist! but it sure takes so much longer to advance

One question though? Can Vail of lifeblood be found on this map? and how far in game if so?

btw, would be insteresting to hear how you guys farm? Is there a better way to farm to minimize gold loss?

you need one 36 hp creature to get one demon. I think that a 16 HP Familiar rank1 goes to 36 hp on Rank10 with Earth Bonus active, I remember also that the Sharpshooters rank10 have 36 hp so they don't need mithril invested in their HP, the cerberi need only rank 6 or so

Also the rings of Vitality and Ring of Life can be found during your journeys and can save you up to 2 upgrades in imps' life

toolan,mithril is your most important resourse in the game.
DON'T WASTE MORE MITHRIL THAN ABSOLUTE NECESSARY.
You could blame the map author for that,but the mithril prices are high and you will need tons of mithril to make powerful army.

Demons can be upgraded without mithril,but familiars can't.
Once you get them to ACE level with the two rings and your Air bonus they become demons 1:1.

I am telling you this,because you will see later in the game how gold pours like river,while mithril will always be scarce.

Well,I admit:
IIRC you play Master of Elements,right?

If you choose MoW,you can have as much mithril you want and you can experiment at your leasure.

Ehmm master, or anyone that might know, I am kinda unlucky in my MoW game, I ve only got one of the 2 rings that give +1 health, can I use two of the same kind for the same effect or do I have to take the imps to 17 health instead of 16?

Also, to recap, in order to get 1:1 ratio for demon farming:

imps 16 health, ace lvl, air bonus + 2 rings of health (each +1)
shooters no upgrades, air bonus, ace lvl
dogs no upgrades, rank 6, air bonus

Is this list correct?

p.s. for efreet it gotta be 1:1 anyway I guess!

Well,first try and see for yourself if the lack of one ring doesn't allow you to farm at 1:1.

Then if you want to,you can either:

1.Wait a little bit more for it to come and in the meantime farm dogs.
2.Give the 50 mithril to health increase 16 to 17.
In MoW you will have tons of mithril anyway.

Just one bit of reminder-in Arena you can level your heroes and then place them in your castles for the new heroes to become more levels and repeating the process.

Sal made this calculation:
25 heroes mutliplied by 20 mithril per hero equals 500 mithril per day!!!

Well then, guess I have to readjust my game plan and stop being obsessed about gold loss CB's will probaly handle those losses if am not wrong


Still I think its weird how I managed to get a 1to1 ratio with Familiars on 22(24)hp without ranking them up
but when I had to go back I week because of bad farming planning It wouldn't work no more!!

anyways won't matter I guess sense gold wont be a issue,

Mithril is very scarce you are probably right, but I remember last time I played this map (2years ago) there was a cave. Am not sure if it's called dragon cave, but it's to the right side of Ignatius. I just used to put a teleport shrine next to it and one next to an oasis and keep battling them, and then sell the artefacts to artefact market.
I thought it was a grate place for boosting up mithril, but it was very time consuming

I think it was the first faction I tried.After that I tried the other 3.
And Sal made many,many changes for his favourite faction!

I think you can remove a shrine now and place it on other place every day,is that so?

Yes it seems as you can remove and replace the shrine, cool dident know that and here I am holding on to my shrines



Does anyone know if there is a hot key for quick battle?

Really would like to speed up the CB's battles..I have some problems to get the fast battle animation mod to work :/

use quick battle resolve in game options or press auto combat and "yes" when you're asked to resolve it instantly

Tks didn't know about that, but there should be some way to play the battle with fast battle animation. Can't figure out how to turn it on!!

My fast battle animation is enabled in mod manager, but it's not working.



wow this sure saves me alot of time If poor computer just dident waste spell points..
