I was just afraid that the Dragon Cave will be lost,deleted or some other awful process performed upon it.

No, the chance of getting relics was much improved. I think I spent about half hour to reload then I had 6 swords/shields for everybody. Only 3 days lost.

Initially I made such object for dragon's cave but it turned out to be rather difficult to deal with shadows as separate object and create 3D look then gave up, result not satisfactory:

Selecting difficulty screen was remade in Heroes style, the other fit to Starwars probably. The lich will change mood accordingly to what you pick:



Had a terrible urge to add Fred's nude pixie in the window view, but I lose my minds, stop.

I played a bit of MoD last night and managed what I couldn't with MoS. Kill Serena with 520 Barons. With MoS was about same amount of AD's

AI calculates their power differently (which is ofc normal) and chooses to stay behind walls much longer which is in my advantage. on MoS I reloaded about 20 times then decided I will just come later. She was simply to strong at that moment.

Wystan was also a joke, though efreets were slower than both Titans and Lords of Thunder and I had to tweak tactic a bit.

Cave of Dragons is 1000 mp/ fight but I got 2 relics in 3 fights, then I left.

Still my greatest pain is the movement rate. Commodus is currently special lvl 4 which is slooow. and the other heroes got around 4 k movement points or less. Overall I enjoy MoD as it's relaxing.

Playing MoW now, while doing fine, I'm just... bored for whatever reasons, because the only special feature I get from this factions is lots and lots of resources each day and, well, that's it. No Double Cast/Dispel/Blind/Teleport Shrines/Special Slow/Emissaries/... like MoE, no bonus speed/CB's Mithril accumulate/runner packs/light houses like MoS, just resources. But I guess all factions can't be equally fun anyway.

Mow is slow to realize how good is. 6 grails to come, lots of mithril daily, training cost halved. Has less gameplay fun but is more solid than others.

At this moment, I see no reason to change anything, imps work, I tested difficulties and ok, so if anyone starts a game, I would appreciate it starts on last and give feedback if I forgot something. Main post link replaced.

Yeah was talking about the fun part rather than the viability of the faction.

Anyway test a bit and Hell Barons indeed already have innate Fear, so do you intend to put up a minor note to prevent newbies from wasting 200 Mithrils and a slot to get that ability for Baron Sal?

I think we see rather soon that they have fear, I didn't noticed because I never tested the faction past 2 weeks, but now ok.

i don't see what's visually wrong, besides coloring. my version of your sky island:


looking at this def, i could create a bunch of different ones of these. will come in handy for my planeswalker ideas.

hell, i could create ones of different sizes, and different heights, to make mario-land-looking defs.

btw, where'd you find this neat little thing? i'm digging it.

If I remember well, hero was transparent when walking on, due to object settings, "above" required special layout, "part of ground" screwed the hero walking on. I gave up because not functional in maps, otherwise it looks good.

what about seperating the shadow from the object, and using it as a seperate def? that would work. kinda like my reef shadows.

yep, works:


just create a def of the sky island(below object), then seperate the shadow from it, and make the shadow it's own def(above object). don't forget to add a color pixel other than the 2 pinks(and the background color) for the shadow def. then align on the map. easy.

thanks for the object, btw. it's like the last puzzle piece for my "migration" map.

i can only visit the island(think new lookout tower) without erm. but, with erm, i'm guessing one could script it so that one could move around on water, in a certain area of squares. like, giving water walk ability for the immediate vicinity, that gets taken back when they go back thru the portal.

I have this annoying bug in TEW. When i fight the lich king in the lich king's place, After i kill the liches i get an error and my game crashes what to do?

(the lich place is at Galthran's Necropolis town near the town there is subterarn gate) 149*128* are the coordinates on map editor.

Feels good to aproach the second Cave of gods.

MoD is a little slow, had middle game rather hard but now they slaughter everything on the way, battles really easy. Changed barons description to show all abilities.





At this point I will use next special levels to gather +20 movement for everyone, I can't fight all CB's.

Oh and since you are going to release the final version do you intend to release a complete Walkthrough like TEW 3 or at least a small list that has all the tips and explains all the game mechanics (Immunity 1 and 3 don't stack, Fear ability doesn't stack, Atk/Def cap, Ghost levels, etc) that players need to know? Maybe we could help you to create one.

I don't know if doable,but if yes,then you could hide some part of the new walkthrough according to the difficulty level.
Complete on the easiest and nothing on the hardest.
