284 Portraits for Phoenix Mod / Portait Mgr
StrikerX Portraits for Phoenix Mod- Version 2.0 - Final Release
Updated: April 12th, 2013.
This mod adds 120 new portraits to the Phoenix Mod with an additional 164 extra portraits you can use to swap if you like them better. Make sure this mod is loaded after phoenix mod which is to say should be placed above it in the mod manager.
You can see the overview of the new portraits in main mod folder as jpg files.
To use for the portrait manager don't put this mod in the mod folder. Instead, you will have to put in a little extra work. I noticed there format is different and uses folders 1 to 10 with 15 files in each named 1 to 15 so the portrait files in this mod would need to be renamed and placed in each folder of that mod. I've just started working with the portrait manager but I'll probably create a new mod with 150 of them loaded for it ready to go for those that don't use phoenix mod.
If you like these portaits I've also uploaded a mod called StrikerX portraits which replaces all the regular hero's portraits in the standard game and uses all the best portaits from this collection.

Here's a preview of the first 120 that would come up with Phoenix Mod. There is also 2 additional jpeg's of the extra 164 portraits in the main mod folder.

Sorry to have to reply to this old thread to ask my question but the forum posting rules forces me to do this instead of just starting a new post.
I have seen many posts across .ru websites of artists re-drawing the original HOMM 3 portraits; either through just re-touching or re-drawing the portrait. Sadly, most of the files were posted to flaky download service sites and are long gone.
(Why do people use sketchy download websites that disappear in a year instead of publishing their work to public bit torrents so they can be kept alive for as long as people share them?)
Does anyone know current sources for the re-touched and re-drawn portraits?
(I know there are several packs of portraits stolen from other games. That's not what I'm looking for.)

Can anyone recreate the link or something, please? I'm using "Sriker's Portraits" the way this mod was supose to be used (and I lose more then one hundred files in the process).

I meen the one with 284 different portraits. I believe I have these two. Vallex is compress and you can't access the images to use in other mods, wich is my objective. But if you have other mod or collections of portraits I can use both- Thank you for the trouble.
P.S. Well the difference in size is just 10Kb but I think is this one, at least I see some portraits I don't remember.
