I've added the buildings menu on the left and created a page for Sanctuary Buildings.

Produces/Effect line can replace the Description line if they are essentially the same.

Feel free to copy and paste and to fill it out. Once all the data is there we can see if we can improve the appearance further before doing the other 4 pages.

As for checkboxes, I like the idea, but I don't know how to do it with a wiki. This may require a LOT of extra programming.

Ok. I filled some in and even now I know what I dislike about it. It would be better to have pictures for each dwelling and make resources like a table. Can you do such a template for me?

I don't want to sound like I am lazy but the only one subject that I had problems at school was programming. It is ironic how I had to program a lot for my map and now this is over the top. I know maybe I can do it if I dig... Valeriy promised to give templates so here I am still waiting. maybe a few rows with a pic in the tables.. I will manage to fill it out once I see the sample "skeleton"  of the table.

Pictures would need to be extracted out of the game and uploaded using the Upload file function under Toolbox (bottom left). If you upload a few images we can experiment with the best way to implement them into the page.

I'm not sure what exactly you mean by making resources like a table. I personally think that the best look would be using in-game icons to represent resources. If someone can upload small resource icons I can have a go at implementing them.

Generally it is easy to get too carried away with complex appearances and then not get far with the pages themselves. I would suggest that we fill the information first in a simple template, and then improve it afterwards by adding images, etc.

Good job on filling it out

I've made some tweaks to simplify the page, taking out all the info that is obvious (such as requirement of Town Level 1, and requirement of base building for upgrade). I've also highlighted upgrades and simplified descriptions so that only the functions are listed.

I think that the wiki will be most useful if it is quick to read and cuts to the bone of the info. Everything else is in the game anyway. And this way it is easy to scan the table to calculate costs and see the functions of each building.

I think the best next step is to copy and paste this template and fill out the other towns. Then we could potentially add icons on the left of each building, like with creatures. Let me know your thoughts.

Haven creature/unit buildings filled in, except for the quantity produced each week. Please edit the page for the correct numbers.
The other buildings in the Haven town also need to be entered.

I second the idea to add pictures/icons next to each building like Valeriy suggests, along with the suggestion that this is done after the actual text data for all towns is filled in.

Cheers!

Yes it would be best when the actual data is right! Your elite values are wrong. I guessed from the wood stats I play haven often and just checked anyway

Sorry about that, I got the data from another site and (naively) assumed they would be correct. I didn't have the game available at the time. If I fill in more pages, I'll make sure I use data from the actual game.

I've added links in the sidebar for Shades of Darkness Expansion sections:
Expansion Features
Dungeon Faction
Dungeon Creatures
Dungeon Buildings
New Artifacts

The pages are empty, except for Creatures - I've placed an empty template there so it is easier to fill out.

I'm getting the expansion via Steam, so I'll probably start adding some info. If you are getting it too, feel free to add info to the pages.

By the way, when making edits it is a good practice to summarize your edit in the Summary box. Ex: "Added Stronghold creature dwellings" or "Fixed centaur attack", etc. This makes it easier for everyone to follow changes on the Recent Changes page.

Good job on filling the creatures Valeriy! Happy Easter !!!
Can you put them in core/elite/champ comparison?
I filled in the new artifacts btw
New relics are rather weak except assassin boots. I loved owning two such artifacts in H5. Assassin boots+ gauntlets of the Kahn  for the ultimate core double attack power

Good job on the artifacts as well, and I saw that you completed the sanctuary buildings page
Yeah, that is a nice artifact combo I'm just re-playing the first Dungeon camp map on Hard and trying to buy the Shadow Comb at the artifact merchant. Can't afford it, so I might buy the Chest of Endless Gold first to get me there

I'll need to get the actual defence numbers for Dungeon creatures (like Miru has done for the other creatures pages) to integrate them into the comparison tables properly. What is the easiest way to get those numbers?

Thanks for making a start on that. I've finished them up and added Dungeon creatures to the sortable comparison tables.

Core, Elite , Champion

EDIT: Btw, I've extracted the icon images for the buildings pages. I've put a sample into Sanctuary Creatures - Cloudy Mountain. I think they are easiest to read with a space bar on both sides of the comma. I think they improve the look a bit.

Icewolfnector, thanks for updating the creature pages!

There are a few things about the creature tables code I should point out:

- There is a data-sort-value variable before creature name, attack, defence and magic defence. It is there to allow the table to be sortable when it contains values that are not a simple number: creature name, attack which is a range rather than a single number, and two defence numbers.
In case of creatures it is set as numberupgrade. For example 21 for base second core creature, or 62 for upgraded third elite creature.
In case of attack it is the average attack. For example 60.5 for 57-64, or 4 for 2-6.
In case of defence it is the base defense number, for example 28 for 28 / 46.

- The core, elite and champion creature comparison tables are slightly different from faction creature pages.
First difference is that data-sort-value for creature's name has one extra number in front. 1 for Haven, 2 for Inferno, 3 for Necro, 4 for Sanctuary, 5 for Stronghold, 6 for Dungeon. This restores the original order of the table when it is sorted by creature name.
Second difference is the faction abbreviation before the tier of the creature, for example DUN: Champ+ or HAV: Core 3.

I've fixed these things on all the faction creature pages, and on the champion comparison page. Would you be able to fix them on the core comparison and elite comparison pages? You can see an example here showing how I fixed the champion comparison.

SBlister, you're a machine!

Also I've added the Other Content heading with Creature Evolution diagram made by xuxo (with his permission) and a formatted full Patch Changelog.
