Hello everyone,
to the point:
- started yesterday and binged today
- used all the bonus code, finished campaign
- ~800 ELO haven cassa 4/4/2: http://www.mmdoc.net/show_deck/10741/
- getting my ass kicked right now
- not getting any of the awesome haven creatures: Angel of Mercy or Wolf Captain
Qs:
- how much haven is UP?
- is there a way to increase my luck in getting specific cards? i mean what is your buying policy: wait and boxes only? do you hoard cash?
- when should i start burning cards in the pit?
- does some of you have any haven decks around ELO 1k to share and inspire me
- what does collection 259/437 mean?
- is trying to get sth like that: http://www.mmdoc.net/show_deck/9148/ a good idea??

Check my comments above.
Just a note on Haven, it takes a while to climb up and I think it slow (without wolf captains). Orc and esp Demon decks can be quick and get you too 1001 elo quick!

Deck is solid because it seems that you are quite limited by the cards. Maybe wrote down all the cards you have for Haven so we could make optimize it?
Wolf Captains are very very hard to get, but not getting Angels of Mercy is just bad luck on your side, they are not that "rare".
That Deck from LQDbrunt is great deck, problem is, it has too many epic/rare cards for you to go that way. It will take incredibly amount of time to get those, but luckily it will be a lot easier with the expansion.

Wolf captains can only be found in void rising and angel of mercy appears only in herald of the void. My only suggestion, keep buying reinforcement packs for a while

Hi there
If I might say my opinion. do not try to rush for 1001 elo..
That is the avarage elo now and you will most likely encounter people like me, or even some of the best.
Also Wolf capitain was nerfed, but he does not cost 3 rsc. but has a Might requirement of 3.

Yes, what Dave said there, better be between 600 and 800 ELO than rush for 1001. I was farming for good 2 months in a range of 500 - 800 ELO because you simply can't deal with what players have above 1001 ELO.
On my first account I rushed 1001 with Inferno(well I was new to the game), and when I passed the 1001 mark, I was winning 1, maybe 2 in 10 games, the decks there are just too strong and have tons of rare/epic cards that you have no answer for if you don't have big card collection.
And since there is a new expansion soon, I would suggest you to just farm and save the gold and seals. In the new expansion, we will have third type of currency, wildcards, that will be used for getting ANY individual card. You will have a chance to get a wildcard for opening pack that you bought for gold, and you will always get a wildcard for opening pack(or box) bought for seals.
So, in my opinion, just keep farming, and don't use anything for 10-15 days(expansion should be out in that time).

I feel like they made haven UP, realized it and throw some random OP stuff: wolf captain to make things even but since it's an epic there is no way i'm gonna have a set or even one any time soon.
Can anyone give me a link to some decent Cassa dack w/o wolf captains (and w/o many epics if possible).

it's a good suggestion anyway, but i wouldn't call it decent.
The way i see it there are some fundamental problems with haven: UP creatures:
- no offensive 1-resource drop
- 2-resource archers UP compared to others (succubus or lich) and yet almost every deck has full set of expert marksmen b/c there are no other shooters for haven
- 3-resource it's ok (glories > crusaders) but not really in term of archers (compare wolf marksmen to centaur archer)
- 4-resource Seraph Warrior wtf - it's often worse than glories, griffin marksmen is better imho
and the basic spell: heal is useless.
wolf captain is a card that brings balance but it's an epic... At least that's my opinion. You can disregard it as n00b QQing.

I'd call it pretty bad. I'd suggest something like this instead. But let's please not clutter this thread with deck suggestions, this is supposed to be a guide Please use the herald of the void topic for that.

How do I link Twitch to my DoC account?
I am trying to create a username with the same name as my uPlay name (DoubleDeck) but that name has already been taken on Twitch!

@Deck: Create a Twitch account, details don't matter and don't have to match your ingame name, then go to Options-Twitch tab in your DoC client, enter your twitch account login and pass, and press the big button, or F5.
