Tooltips flickering in Windows 7

Hello all:

I have the Heroes 4 Complete installed in a Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits O.S. The game runs fine, except for the annoyance of not showing the tooltips properly.

When you move your mouse over any object (be it  at the main menu screen, or at adventure map, or in combat)  the tooltips ( for those who may be confused: the little rectangles of text that show up when you mouse over an object in many applications, a.k.a: hints) are cyclically shown and immediately hidden , so it is impossible to read them (and they keep in this way flickering as long as your mouse doesn't move to other place). This is particularly inconvenient when in combat, as you are unable to see the damage range the active creature would inflict over an enemy.

I tried changing the compatibility settings with no success.

My Specs
S.O: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits.
CPU: Intel Core i5 2500
MB: AsRock P67 Fatal1ty Performance
RAM: 16GB DDR3
Video Card: Sapphire HD 7950

Has anyone has had this problem and solved it?

Thanks in advance

H4c? I use GS, then I installed H4c. If you installed H4c .. yeah problem has seen.. and maybe I tested, don't helping anything.. You need H4s then GS and final H4c!

Wow that's..weird... Doesn't H4c overwrite the previous installments, thus causing the problem again? (my doubt surges due to the H4c setup being a full installation, so it replaces everything in there, unlike an update that could let some files untouched). If your method indeed works may only be due to some configuration parameter that remains unchanged somewhere (registry maybe as i don't see config files for the game)

Anyways I only have the H4c...

I was thinking that maybe some tweak in the card parameters (via CCC or Radeon Pro) may make a difference. Anyone has an idea if the problem is related to only AMD cards, or Nvidia users suffer it too?

I use GeForce and my bro use AMD. I don't like AMD. Now he use a GeForce. My new computer has Geforce. No H4c working also in old machine. DVD is error. Therefore I use old GS + new H4c.
