Bloodsucker, I never play with level 8 monsters, they are way too strong.

Stevie, you need to install Era (WoG) over SoD or H3 Complete edition. Then the mod.

Then you can use any template you like. This is the one I usually play, 3 players no underground.

Ok, first full test on XXL random done, 3 players, growth x 3, all other settings at maximum.

Still too easy, not that I am Einstein, but AI does such stupid things even when it leads at all levels, is embarrassing.

next time I will play without berserk.

AI Turns are painfully slow starting with week 2, sometimes they even stop loading, even when playing with one single opponent. I got a good computer so I don't know why it acts like this. What could be wrong?

It starts to be a bit slow on second week, but no more than 1-2 minutes/player. Anyway, I tested it more and reduced the AI range, so it will be <> twice faster now. Maximum he can travel will be 70 tiles (twice logistic expert) now, instead of 110. Usually I hit F4 then do something else, when I bring it back 1 min later, AI turn is over.

Better new game, not sure it works on saves.  Also if you raise neutral growth >3, will slow AI a lot. I usually start at 4, then lower at 3 before second week.

Nobody told you it will. XXL patch replaces map SIZES, not their buttons .

Yes right. Just generate Extra-large map, if XXL mod is activated, 144x144 map will automatically become 252x252.

Btw, I had a game yesterday and AI slaughtered me before week 4. I forgot that planeswalkers automatically enchant all their army with fire shield and I let AI to play Conflux. Boy, one of them came week three and I lost all my archangels on fire shield retaliation.

As the guy was resistance specialist, any spell/dispell didn't work.

So, don't play vs Conflux, it is invincible.

I'm trying to play a random map on hotseat but the alliances get messed up. Like I can't be allied with my bro even tho I set it like that, teams end up totally random. And he receives the AI bonuses too.

I might've gotten the wrong idea and this mod is actually just for single player. Is it?

WoG is for single player...the data transfer wasn't solved yet.

@Edit: hmm, Hot seat, play allied to your brother against AI? It should work, as battles will be against AI.

But if battle against brother, then the battles will freeze at some moment, depending on wog settings.

What do you mean lol, I've been playing wog in hotseat and multiplayer with tunngle for years! And never had these problems. Now the entire game crashed, wtf!

Give me 10 minutes and will be playable in Hot seat. I just didn't design it for that, as I know wog can't work, but worth a try.

I didn't tried the mod update yet but I have a few questions.

1. Do we have access to all heroes except the three for player AI now has?

2. What are those heroes identities? Can be Crag, Tazar and Neela or are they choosed between extension and lesser heroes?

3. When they are killed do they still get prim bonus that day?

4. If an hero is killed and computer player has no towns but after that he manages to conquer one is lost hero revived? I think it should.

Let's see:

1) Human player can recruit any hero, but never the AI heroes, if such hero is in your tavern, when you click on tavern to open, it will be replaced instantly.

2) Those heroes are random, there is no need to be a special hero, as they will become special them selves on first day (offense, armorer and resistance specialists). So far, the hardest battles I had were vs resistance specialists, basically zero of my offensive spells worked.

3) The bonus they receive is given at the start of their turn. So when they are killed, they already got their bonus, but next turn they will not get any bonus, just be revived and placed in front of main town.

Can't you avoid giving them the good heroes, since they will become ones anyway? Are you only selecting heroes from the same faction? If not u could select just between extension heroes.
