Modding-Heroes6:Shades of darkness

I really would like to mod h6, unfortunately, it seems there's no tool that can be used to edit the file game.orc of h6 v2.1. All I saw was gameorc editor for v1.5 or below. Actually, I wanna mod nothing but some creature stats. Maybe I am wrong, but as far as I'm concerned, parameters like creature stats are stored in game.orc. To open this very file, I tried Hex editor and txt, but they didn't work. The file can be opened anyway, but all I can see is either a heap of messy code or a large amount of binary number, neither is editible. So anyone knows how to deal with this file?  I would be happy if someone could help me out or give me some advise.

Huge amount of heximal numbers are pretty editable if you know what to find. Search for a name of creature, then look carefully in numbers after it. Compare em with stats. Try to change them overrighting, not inserting. Try winhex, it has good search engine. I don't know anyother ways.
