Oh, I forgot, if we are making creature restrictions, I would also put Hellfire Maniac on the list. And what about Heroes? Can we play heroes from the HotV? Since this is no-rare-no-epic tournament I would allow them.

Oky there are people here who are for limiting those 4 creatures and some who are not.
So I would like to to know the opiniion of the first 6 people who will write here. And based on this, I will make the decision.
The creatures are
Blackskull crusherr
Decay spitter
Hellfire maniac
Soul-consuming lich
I'm for taking them out.

I'd say leave hellfire maniac and soul consuming lich. They can be a little annoying but aren't really broken.

As you wish, my point is, those creatures might not be broken in the current game, but if we restrict the tournament to no-rare-no-epic, I would take them out.
And Elvin, Soul-Consuming Liches, Decay Spitters and Hellfire Maniacs are probably my favorite units in the game, I still think they will be broken if we play it like this.

You have a point given the remaining uncommon units. I lack sympathy for necro but it's a shame that inferno has no other unit that can be played defensively when swarmed by enemy units - apart from the lurker that can only stall. I feel inferno would lose an important part of its gameplay with them out and we'd be forced into rush builds once again.. Inferno control is viable only because of the new units.

There should be no limits to mechanics or cards apart from the following:
- Week of Austerity (bug)
- Decay Spitters
- Blackskull Crushers

After some thought I decided that for this round the fallowig cards are not allowed to be used, as they are broaken or inbalanced whitout the presence of rare cards.
Decay spitter
Blackskull crushher
Week of austarity
Whitout the week, I thing there won't be any controle deck, but still I hope to see more then Necro and Stronghold decks.
The registration is now oppened and will be until we get 8 or 16 players again :-)

HEROES COMMUNITY - DoC NO-RARE tournament: Round 2
Rules
Card limitations:
No-Rare = No Rare (blue cards) and no Epic (orange) cards
No achievement heroes (Ariana, Crag Hack etc…)
No The Forgotten Wars (TFW) cards
Cards banned for balance reasons:
Decay Spitter (HoV set)
Blackskull Crusher (HoV set)
Week of Austerity (VR set)
Deck limitations:
Hero LOCK = Each player is allowed to use only one hero, which he is going to name in his registration for the tournament. All other cards in the deck can be changed freely if they do not break the „Card limitation rules“.
Violating the rules (proved by a replay) will lead to the disqualification of the guilty player.
Tournament system:
- Player will be divided into groups of 4-6.
- Each player will have one match with every other player in his group.
- Each match is played in the „best out of 3“ duels played principle.
- 2 best from each group will have a small finale to determine who has won.

You can see it as rage outbreak but also as a motivation. I Wanted this tournamnt to be a oportunity for people to try out new and unusual combinations and ideas, that is why I played a no-rare OTK the last round, and this time I want to create something unusual aswell.
I would love to see more fun combinations than brute effciency.
