Probably this is a stupid question, but: how may I run the exe. files from the mods? I can't run them. I tried to add the files via mod manager, but this did not work.
What do I miss? I'm afraid it's horribly obvious.

sorry, i didn't see this post before.

it took me a minute, but i found the terrain patch in .pac form(it was in my old work folder, in with all the WoG stuff).

download

the terrains aren't done. whoever made them, only finished the grass terrain. the sand and dirt terrains are incomplete. the grass terrain doesn't work visually, because it is jagged grass, and when roads are laid down over top of it, the road appears to float above the grass.

and that's it. 3 terrains in the pac, only 1 complete. i made grass patches with the grass terrain; they're in my object patch(that can be downloaded here at HC).

If you receive a message "Windows cannot open this file," it may mean the ".exe" file association in your registry is corrupt. Try google to find how to fix it.

Also simple way for era mods based on exe: install winrar, unrar the mod in Heroes folder (should go in mods) then activate the mod using mod manager.

I finally played a map with the new features and thanks again Sal, they are amazing.
Crafting for spellpoints proved to be very usefull.
Loved the new oponents (it's true: the hardest ones are the Resistence specialists).
Usain Bolt makes a difference even if I think turns Offense and Armourer specialists better then Logistics (same for spells casters but less).If u can fight battles earlier u get the increment sooner and with time this will be enouch to make Logistics and Logistics specialty considerably less significant.
The Invite Tavern excedes my expectatives. It's great not have to restart because heroes in tavern are useless or inexistant nor spend all money on heroes you don't want to be able to buy the ones you want.
On the other hand, I selected the Random Hero option but I didn't fought none; is the Invite Tavern or the new BAI incompatible with this feature?
Also, I edit the map and put 12 level 7 creatures in each enemy starting town garisson but I don't recall a single battle where those extra creatures seamed to be part of the oponents army. While it is possible fresh heroes to have lost them in the early battles against 3 times the usual growth, it looks to me they were "cleaned" by the routine to remove trashy creatures in the beginning of the week. Is it posssible?

I don't know if "random hero" is disabled by invite tavern, but I know the script is buggy and can cause crash.

Is not good idea to edit maps when playing conquistador, as scripts process every detail, delete trash creatures from garrisons, set AI army, resources and buildings, so all your edits will be deleted.

Where is stored Ghost1.pcx for Pestilence in the Adventure Pilars?
I was thinking about copying that code to give my favorite Striker pictures to my favorite heroes (if you're going to ask why I don't use the mod, that's Vido portrait) but I don't find the picture in the Data files as I tought I would.

Ok, I did it. This part was easy.
Is  just to write this:
!!HE109:L1^GundulaL.pcx^;
and have the picture in the Data folder.

Now, if I use the Striker's mod it works perfectly. If I manualy copy the picture and use this code I get the small picture out of proportion and the other destroyed. I tought HD would do the trick but no. I have no idea what does this.

Forget it, I was going to delete the previous message.
First is small picture then it's large, I put it first the big one, What looked like corrupted bited was the part of the file missing...
(The help has it wrong way,btw)It works fine now.
Other thing, the Invite Tavern has some actions on armys? I was setting Vido and Isra to start with a pack of liches but it didn't worked.
