I would like to sujest the addiction of the Arcane Tower to the SoD mod options.
Maybe I didn't understood the purpose of the mod but I think it would be nice if we could swap power and knowledge for attack and defense late in the game.

No. SoD mod is for testing sod maps in sod environment. Only things enhancing game play are selectable: no plague, enhanced hints, display movement, rename towns, display correct stats, buy all creatures.

I still have to update it, need to remove backpack bag from options as it is now available as stand alone.

Date of last Mod-Update?

Salamandre,
in my opinion it would be helpful for all of us, to have a 'Date of change' for each (further) updated Mod in post 1. For example wog revised, which was updated few weeks ago, but i did only notice by random. What do you think about?

I replaced the script "switch armies" with "resolve battle". The former conflicted with Heroes improved interface mod because it used same functions. And is no longer needed as we have the mod now.

Oh, that I know. I was the one who reported the bug in the first place, updated smuggler's and so on... That feels like at least a month ago.

EDIT: Yep, I checked the related posts to see if my sense of time is completely ****ed up and it was even more than a month ago, January the 2nd.

I will make a major update probably next month to wog revised, as I am planning to replace all wog functional objects (questionable)graphics. As they need to keep exact passability and structure for compatibility with already done maps, is a bit long, + hand made animations + find the right objects.

Previews: battle academy and summoning portal (stones)
instead of

Same names will change because the object look will change, so the text changes will be done in wog revised (unless a better idea)

i recognize the object on the right(the druid portal), i've seen it on the df2 forum. there's a lot of talented work over there. top-notch stuff.


the object on the left needs the stone parts sharpened, they look bad in contrast to the sharper plantlife and fire.

It's also important to keep them terrain friendly. Your new Battle Academy looks nice but it will look wrong on lava terrain or snow with those tropical trees in the background.

Don't know if it matters but that is not Battle Academy is Palace of Dreams.

artu has a point. i would remove the trees entirely, as well as any ground base the object has(all except the stone and fire), that way the object would fit on pretty much any terrain(except snow, a snow-covered version would work there).

Reinforcements spell replaces Disguise. Hero can summon garrison troops to his army.

No school
Hero can summon to army {1st} tier creatures from {closest} town garrison.

Basic fire magic

Hero can summon to army {1st-5th} tier creatures from {any} town garrison.

Expert fire magic

1. While translate I skip one message in script. You can re-download mod or just download and replace script

I had same trouble with fonts in Era: there was no digits in hero windows. Bug was in fonts packs for HD-mode. When I disable those packs, bug disappeared

Russian and english version differ only in script and in russian version I have no such bug
