i believe a while back i think it was JimV who came with this script that gave 100s of blank artifacts, now i see someone else succeeded.
Back then i made a couple pictures for my new combo artifacts and got everything to work but then after the update it didn't work anymore because this script by (i think) JimV was incompatible.. Now i see it is possible, because right now i used up all the blank programmable artifacts and i want to make more, it would be great if we can actually add artifacts (i think this would also mean that we can add castles, heroes, resources and so on in the same way)

Adventure map Reminder (105 kb)

Got one mod to suggest. I can't code, so I wouldn't know the first thing about how to make it.
Whenever I play the Heroes Chronicles maps or other campaign maps, I get peeved when my units stop getting experience because my hero can't gain any more levels. In fact, when you battle with someone who is maxed out in level, your units LOSE experience. Very annoying.
Does anyone think they can make a mod that either makes your units always aces, or at least corrects this bug? I hate facing a computer with all Aces when my units are all Basic.

No, I need to update it, as it was done before some plugins from era 246, so it will conflict.

Hobbes, here is SoD mod, redone and fixed. You need to have Era installed to get working it.

The SoD campaigns are in custom campaigns folder, I did not yet find a solution to bring them in regular screen. So choose custom to play them.

Sorta VCMI but done in the stone age wog kitchen.

In fact Bersy asked why have several mods displaying battle infos when we can have one. So be it.
Advanced Battle Hints
In battle, Ctrl+left-click on any stack to display:
a) the enchantments it has, up to 10
b) The number of retaliations left
c) The number of casts left (ie archangel, faerie dragon)
d) Action (done, waiting, defending)

So far I haven't been let down except for the random errors/crashes I assume comes from compatibility issues with the OS. These mods are great, but I'm looking to add more to my gaming experience. I really appreciate the creators of all this content btw and thanks Sal for the new Overflow Fix I stumbled upon in these forums.

Overflow fix is useless on random maps, its purpose is to avoid overflow on custom epic maps. I hardly see someone getting skills up to 125 on a random map.
Anyway, for your problem. I run win xp and I almost never get crashes, while running some of the most complex mods. My guess would be that win 7-8 greatly suck at old games, but if you need a connoisseur advice, you should register then ask in THIS forum, as Era's creator rarely visits HC.
Also HD mod is very unfriendly with Era/WoG, crashes could be triggered by conflicts. I don't use it.
